South Africa were shambolic today. Some of the run outs you wouldn't even see in school cricket. Cannot fathom how a team with multiple match winners cannot get over their mental bug in tournament play.
An India England final would be a terrific spectacle.
Lets not forget our very own patriotic English fans failed to observe a silence at the Kell Brook v Errol Spence fight which required Sky to mute the noise. Not a single headline was made mind you.
It was an excellent match up (another good fight brought to British soil thanks to Eddie Hearn) culminating in Brook being outclassed by the better man. Not sure you can really say there was any overhyping of Brook.
Word of warning for any one watching the fight later. As always take Carl Froch's expert opinion with a pinch of salt. In the Dave Allen undercard fight he has just scored it an easy one sided win for Allen only for the judges to have a split decision for the opponent
There's nothing wrong with a guy trying to portray himself in good light and be a proper ambassador for the sport. There are enough guys who do the trash talking.
I wonder if Ukrainians bad mouth Klitschko for being a nice guy outside the ring...
Problem is in the heavyweight division aside from the top 4-5 guys, the rest are all duds so you can't really knock Joshua's record and calibre or opponent. Assuming he beats Klitschko, he will probably go onto fight Wilder next and then can take his pick at anyone else after that. So after 21-22 fights he will have pretty much fought all the big names about.
I envisage it to be cagey for 3-4 rounds with both fighters boxing from range but I do feel as soon as AJ applies the pressure at close quarters Wlad will rocked and most likely floored by the right hand that he won't see coming.
I'll admit I've never really followed Wlad's career too closely. How good has his chin been? As soon as AJ lands flush, will it be all over red rover? I personally think it will be.
