  1. His contract with Matchroom is up. He is a big enough star to probably promote himself now if he really thought Eddie was a complete tool. The reality is he has made his career and he'll stick with him for some time yet.
  2. One connection on Fury's chin and it will be lights out. The guy has powder puff punches and AJ would simply walk through him. Povetkin actually could hurt AJ which is why he couldn't just be on the front foot all the time.
  3. Lol the two get on very well if you watch their interviews on iFL TV on YouTube. AJ was merely playing on the fact the crowd perceive Eddie as some kind of pantomime villain.
  4. Good fight - Povetkin showed plenty. AJ's résumé is now easily the best amongst his peers.
  5. One of the worst fights I've ever seen. The second time I've watched O Kolie involved in a stinker. Just does not have a good style.
  6. Always good watching Price from a monetary point of view
  7. I appreciate this is your opinion but I think AJ would be absolutely crazy to be touching illegal substances when he has the world of boxing at his mercy. I'm not too clued up on drug tests or regulations but you'd think if there is even a slim chance he'd be busted, he wouldn't go near them things. Just too much to lose - boxing career wise and beyond.
  8. Probably because he is British and has a large casual fan following lol
  9. Anyone seen the latest BJ Saunders video doing the rounds? What a pathetic human being this guy is. Really do hope he gets in the ring with Golovkin and gets badly hurt.
  10. Yes this is incredibly annoying and undermines an otherwise great sport. You always felt GGG would have to knock him spark out to win the fight even before a bell had been rung. That's not the way sport should be contested.
  11. Think 115-113 was fair enough. Had Canelo 4-2 up after 6 and then although GGG came strong second half, it was never going to be enough with pro Canelo judges. GGG had to demolish him to get the result but Canelo is a tough son of a gun and kept coming forward. If there is to be a third I think by the time it happens it will be too late in the day for GGG and we will see a conclusive Canelo victory to put this rivalry to bed.
  12. Obviously they are a class apart in pure boxing skills but it's a top fight in the sense that Bellew has enhanced his name and showcased the ability to brawl and actually bang. Usyk should make Bellew look silly but I haven't followed his career close enough to know what he's like when he's up against someone willing to make it dirty.
  13. Another top fight delivered without much fuss by Eddie Hearn. Meanwhile the shambles that is Frank Warren still hasn't announced the date or venue for Wilder-Fury. Rumour has it he is waiting for AJ fight week to announce it. Pathetic lol.
  14. Eddie gets some undue flack to be honest. If you watch his videos on IFL TV on YouTube he is a good guy. Sure he loves a pound note and he may elongate negotiations to protect/get the best deal for his fighters but that is what a good promoter does. He is current and understands modern boxing/business needs. Warren is stuck in the old days and is completely fixated with trying to undermine Matchroom, it is embarrassing. Just watch the promotion of this Wilder-Fury event. The build up will be an utter shambles...
  15. Unless you think Frank Warren and his 7k capacity shows at the Copperbox Arena are the reason for the resurgence of boxing in the UK ?
  16. Lol - boxing is booming in the UK right now largely because of Eddie Hearn.
  17. Jennings is so stiff, someone made a good point that he bats like he's facing a bowling machine. Must be much better options in county cricket.
  18. Who has Fury fought? His résumé is diabolical minus Vlad.
  19. The whole thing looks completely staged in an attempt to give a big f*** you to Eddie Hearn & AJ. The winner will then have a much stronger bargaining position for any future deal with AJ. But I can't see Fury getting a favourable decision in the US by just being elusive. If it goes 12 rounds, Wilder will win regardless of how the fight has gone...
  20. I don't think Fury's powder puff punches will trouble Deontay Wilder in the slightest. One clean connection and it's lights out for the Gypsy King. Easy money for both fighters but only one outcome.
  21. Absolute freak show. The promotion of this event will be embarrassing.
  22. The fight won't even happen in my opinion.
  23. Half empty stadiums. Long ball footy. I love this game.
