its really not though. it's not anything close to unwatchable at all a lot of the time. we fall apart due to individual errors time after time, and still panic and hoof the ball, just like we did under houllier and mcleish, but we're starting to have more and more spells where we have the ball down and are playing decent football Nail on head IMHO!! Why are we protesting then... because of negative football?..... Erm well actually NO Poor results..... but then again improving away from home. Or because we just don't like McLeish because he came from SHA? Wait a minute...I thought Villa fans have been telling everyone THAT isn't the reason fans don't like him ......it's the negative football....OH!!!.... round and round we go again... I'll judge him at the end of the season and actually probably after a summer clear out of the players that are hiding behind McLeish's unpopularity with the fans. That would mean giving McLeish free passes like he's been getting all this season. Can't have that. Not when just last season SHA supporters backed the team and were punished for trusting McLeish. That squad shouldn't have been relegated because we're now seeing some of the same players still in the Premier League at different clubs. You have a deathwish if rooting for McLeish's relegation tactics is the way forward. I'm actually hearing that when we were 0-2 down against QPR the players man management themselves. Makes sense consider McLeish just sat there with a facepalm while the players were 100 times better without his relegation instructions with telling the players to 'get back' 24/7. The (most) important games is Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton for me. Don t lose these games and maybe we should be able to make it. Our goal differece also gives us "1 point" more than these clubs. When I check out the matches these days I look out more for Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton to lose their games than Villa to win ours. It´s really sad isn´t it?

Macron will be fine, as I said before I´m in the "Rather be a big fish in small Macron pond, than a small fish in a big Nike pond" camp. That´ll be nice for a change. Just hope we will still be in the division so taht we can be "thier flagship club" in the PL...
