  1. Tom Curry jumping round and punching the air like he’s won the World Cup, when England win a penalty at 27-6 down. Itoje earlier clapping and whooping when a bok dropped a high ball. So embarrassing. Utter bell ends. Saffers are a bunch of horrible shithouses but at least it’s mildly amusing and they back it up. The red card was utterly disgusting, though. Lined up his head and hit it as hard as he could. Absolute word removed. Deserves a long, long ban.
  2. I turned that off at 34-13 because I was bored and the game seemed done. Not gonna lie, that final score is absolutely hilarious.
  3. Thought 1899 was a bit crap. I’m a big fan of Dark so it’s pretty disappointing. They seemed to rely on things that looked cool and intriguing but there wasn’t much a plot to hang them off. I really wanted to see more of Each episode seemed to just consist of enigmatic conversations between underdeveloped characters but just like the setting, I mean, it’s not really bad. It’s just not good, either.
  4. Well **** me. Incredible finish. My last post obviously hasn’t aged well but the way we’ve played in the last ten shows how good we can be. Doesn’t take away from the fact we were not good for the previous 70.
  5. Far from vintage, but still very good, ABs. England still look laboured at best. They remind me of Gerrard’s Villa. So, so dull, with decent players looking like they’ve barely been coached. I’ve also never seen a side shit themselves so frequently when they get within 5m of the opposition try line. Our attack is awful. Please make the World Cup worth watching by getting rid of Jones. He’s just employed another union novice coach because nobody else wants to work with him.

Yep, that was the one. Very funny.

    Stand Up Comedy

I saw Stewart Lee in a small venue in central London at the weekend. He was quite open about the fact that he was testing the material out ahead of a larger tour but he was really, really good. He doesn’t like Fleabag much
  8. Far from perfect but a really satisfying performance. There’s certainly a lot to work on but the progress is clear - even it’s having an actual plan. The solidify and ability to grind that out was really encouraging and I can’t wait to watch us again on Boxing Day. Kamara MotM
  9. Weighing up whether it was worth a wasted year with Gerrard just to have got him. Short term-ish pain for long term gain.
  10. The amount of times Kamara wins the ball when he has no right to. Outstanding.
  11. Doesn’t matter who the manager is when these players keep throwing us under the bus like that.
  12. That is so, so bad from Martinez then. That pass was never on. Disgracefully casual.
  13. McGinn’s pass back to Olsen is the first pass he’s completed all game. He’s had some terrible games for us this but this might be his worst.
  14. I really, really want to like McGinn again but he’s just the epitome of a headless chicken these days. I think he’s done, sadly. Still remember him having an absolute stormer at Old Trafford last season.
  15. Didn’t see the game today as I was out but I’m not surprised. (Would’ve chosen to watch Villa, anyway.) I just can’t be arsed watching England anymore. Sport should at least be mildly entertaining and although I didn’t necessarily think we’d lose, I had a pretty good idea of how the game was going to go. I don’t care if he’s ‘peaking for the World Cup’; I’d actually prefer to enjoy watching England play for the other 46 months of the cycle Eddie should’ve gone a long, long time ago. It’s been a farce for a while. The guy is also an absolute bell end.
  16. It will be nice not to be able to moan about the line up today. Regardless of whether, say, McGinn starts, we’ve now got a manager who definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, knows better than all of us combined.
  17. I don’t suppose anyone knows of any Eternal Sunshine-type procedure where you can erase and block the existence of a football club from your consciousness? Struggling to cope with how much I hate Newcastle and everyone and everything associated with them.
  18. Yep to be fair, I posted this without a VPN so I’m going to be watching my back for the next few months.
  19. Would the female commentator even be allowed to be doing her job if it were up to Newcastle’s owners?
  20. Are even the commentary teams terrified of Newcastle’s owners, given how much they’re abandoning any sense of morality and completely sucking them off? Although, they do have form for murdering journalists, to be fair, so it might be prudent.
  21. I try not to get too emotionally invested in football these days but it’s not good for my health how much I hate Newcastle United, their fans and everything associated with them. words removed.
  22. Newcastle fans are undoubtedly the most obnoxious in the land. Utter, utter scumbags. Which I suppose you’d have to be if you continued to support a team who are a sportswashing front for a murderous regime.
  23. Far from the only one. I think tonight is making it clear, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the players want Gerrard gone.
  24. Just completely unacceptable that we’re playing like this AGAIN and the manager’s been allowed to remain in post for so long.
