General, I'd like to know if Houllier comes back to the club. What happens if we are left without a manager again if he has another heart problem. I think its bad on Randy and the boards part to keep going with Houllier now as it's putting the future of this club in a bad position. It's bad enough that Randy appointed him in the first place, but it's worse to stand by him now with blind faith.

Why would he leave for a club on the same par as the one he's with, he'll wait for a better offer than us.

What makes you think Houller is the man to get these players??. Your off your head if you think he'll get these players, and even more mad if you think he'll get us near the top 8 never mind the top **** 4. He's a useles manager that had his time with Liverpool years ago. I think he is highly reguarded by many world class players both at home and on the continent. He has had massive influences on the type of calibre player's careers that end up playing at top clubs. Players like Toulalan, Malouda, Benzema, Gerrard are just a few that have graced the big stage that he had big influences on.. Words are that there are another batch of class players behind all these that Houllier is well aware of and has the pull to sign. Maybe M'Vila, M'Bengue etc? I dont know. Only a couple a days ago we have McAllister getting all excited in the press saying that big things are going to happen and there's people/players we want to bring in. Houllier has moved on since Liverpool and Lyon, does he not get the inside info at the French Football Federation about raising talents? Isnt/wasny he something to do with Clairfontane? I would hate to throw away a huge opportunity for Villa to reach the big time. Fair enough, if this is what you think. But there is know way GH with get the players like the ones you say above, all of them players are going to a club that can always offer champs league football, it won't happen here.

I guess he's another one that thinks he's made it already. He has lots of talent from what i have seen but his attitude seems to be poor.

Agreed. I still believe Martin Jol is a good shout for manager. I quite rate him but I don't think he would be in the running or certainly not in the first couple of choices anyway. I think it will be him tbh, i think Randy did go for him when at Ajax.

The good players we have may be off in the summer, i think it will all depend on the type of manager that Randy appoints, if he **** up again i think we'll become a proper mid table team for years to come.

Respectfully disagree. The league is for some reason so tight this year that IMO it's hard to definitively say that the teams who end up going down a division were genuinely weaker than the teams immediately above them. I know normally that isn't the case but 2010/11 hasn't been a normal season. I think they will stay up, fwiw, but I'd attribute it mostly to dumb luck, quality-wise they are down there with the likes of Wolves, Wigan etc. for me. I have to agree, i think they have been really lucky this season and the quality of there side is shite, imo they are also lucky they have a decent manager..

I wouldn't mind Moyes myself, but i don't think he'd come here. imo he's gong to want to manage a club that can psh for Champions league, i don't see us having the funds to push on to that level. I'd say it will be Jol.

If the brand of football was better and we where winning cups things would be differant, i think for a club like us to have future success we'd need to invest massive on wages and transfers. I honestly think we'll just keep having the same cycle of events as we have had for the last two summers, sell your best players in the summer just like we will with Ash this season..

I can't see anyone achieving it for a good while tbh. That boat has sailed. It sailed when wages needed trimming. We simply cannot compete financially with any of the to 5 or 6 now. I have to agree with this, the only way we will get it IMHO is if we get an owner like Man Shity. I think Randy is a good owner but he doesn't have 100 million to splash out in one transfer window and on wages.

That means he'd get into there team quite a bit so, i have to disagree though i think Bent is by far a better goal getter.

I don't see Moyes leaving for a team on the same level as Everton, he'll leave for a bigger team in time. Been honest i'd rather a manager that had us playing well for the whole season not just for half..
