TBF, our other strikers are not the same class as Bent. Bent is an out and out goal scorer. If Gabby had the same nack of getting into the right areas he'd be an animal to.

I think Irelands past has come back to bite him since he's been here tbh. I'd say under a differant manager with better man management skills Ireland could have been better. Yeah but there are a few that can hold their heads high at the end of the season imo. Reo,Downing,Albrighton and Clark are about the only one's for me. The rest have been way way below power this season. I won't class any of the Jan signings as they have only had half a season. I'd like to see Ireland under a differant manager if Houllier goes at the end of the season.

That was good, but Petrov's "tackle" (more like wrestle) on Barton topped them all. I never seen him play until we signed him, but i think at this stage of the season i'd keep him out and have Petrov and Reo as our two center mids. i honestly think he's to light and gets pushed and shoved all over the park. Maybe next year he will have become used to the rough part of the league. For me the manure game where he passed the ball all over the place was great but other than that i don't think he's been all that great..

No rob, I never wanted Houllier. But there are other manager I just don't think are right for us and what we are after. From Day one I always wanted a young up and coming manager with bright new ideas. I would not like Woy Hughes or anyone like him long term. I only ever wanted the likes of Fat Sam to get us out of the mess. Maybe if GH keeps us up he'll work wonders in the summer, I really don't no but if it benefits Aston Villa I'll hold my hands ip and say fair play.
