Thanks to those Lambert Luvvies and their bloody logic I'm starting to warm *slightly* to the idea of him staying with investment. When he's had more than a million to spend on a player he's done well (and occasionally with even less). Or at least, I'm not *completely* averse to it. I maintain he has good ideas but doesn't know how to implement them consistently. Maybe a decent coach or two (and better players) might help him to do so... *Might* Sticking with Lambert will put a huge downer on any takeover that happens. Lambert is a bad smell and a relic of Lerner. We deserve way, way better than that out-of-his-depth charlatan.

Most stupid poll ever. One first team regular with 30+ appearances and 5 goals, against.... 2 lads who have probably only featured once for about 10 minutes each this season. I don't even think Donacien has actually got onto the pitch.

Although I haven't particularly enjoyed his tenure, there have been some good points, knocking Citeh out of the cup last season, Liverpool 3-1, relegating droopy face's QPR, Sunderland 6-1, having the indian sign over Norwich, Arsenal 3-1, Man City 3-2 and Chelsea 1-0. Problem is these have been too few and far between and we have never "pushed on" with him as manager. I can understand the constraints he has had to work with but he himself has done quite well financially out of this club. As well as the failure to push on, the main reason I want him gone is that we continue to get the simple stuff wrong and I can't see this changing. His coaching staff created a real stink around the club and that was inexcusable and added an extra worry to an already dire situation. I reckon that's the main reason none of our players really developed from last season - even Delph's early season promise hit the skids - and Albrighton has just been playing well so he can land a new contract.

I honestly do not think Lambert will ever be a good manager for us, even if he had money to spend. He'd just continue to buy more dross and play limited, prehistoric tactics. We know what he is, Martin O'Neill without the man management skills. And if you doubt me, read up about Paul Lambert and the one manager he idolises and still calls "the gaffer" - Martin O'Neill. He's the last person I'd give an injection of cash to. Chances are with talk of this takeover someone better will be lined up anyway.

Only 2 more games of Lambert to go. Now we are virtually safe and the takeover rumours can gather steam it may be less!

We'll have to give him away....last year of his contract on £80k a week and he did pisspoor at Fulham by all accounts. Did he even get 5 goals?

There's no chance he'll be here next season. His fate was sealed when his two buddies were suspended.

1. Takeover 2. New manager with a bit of nous about them. 3. £50m plus to spend on a new leftback, rightback, centreback, defensive midfielder, box-to-box midfielder and striker. Basically we need 6 decent players who can go straight into the first team and dictate play.

Wouldnt be surprised to see Clark poached by another club. Most of their squad is either out of contract or returning to their parent clubs and they could very well start next season with a points deduction, if Yeung stays as owner. The real fun could only just be about to start!

I'd hate to be a Fulham fan right now. With their ageing squad and overpaid primadonnas they will really struggle in the championship. Will the owner back an attempt to go striaght back up? With all their huge wages and the lack of TV money they will be in a precarious position.

Any other club in the league and he would have been sacked earlier. Well yes, absolutely. He's only been kept on because our owner is utterly weak and incompetent. Can't wait for these circus clowns to be out of our club.

He got today spot on and he deserves credit for that, but I think this requires looking at another "bigger picture" - that of his record across this season and last. 10 wins in 37 home games is just not good enough. He deserves the sack.

Job done, another crap season over. Hopefully there is some good news on the horizon - first the takeover, then Lambert getting his P45
