the worrying thing last night apart from the lack of fight and spirt from us was the fact that liverpool didnt even play well at all they were mis placing passes out of play and all sorts yet they still comfortably won 3-0.

It was clearly a foul, personally though, it looked like it was just outside the area. not by alot though. The ref was also in a decent enough position to have seen it clearly and should have given it. yeh could have been a freekick to be fair, i thought it was in the box though after seeing it on football first. I agree with tony pulis about relegating some of these refs, there a disgrace. i feel like personally forwarding videos of them 2 decisons alone (delfounesos disallowed goal and the foul on albrighton) to the fa and premier league to show how bad some of these refs are.

exactly, people forget this, just like the people by me in the first half saying he looks worse than last season. well he wasnt playing up front on his own last season was it, its hard work especially for 19 year old trying to establish himself as a premiership striker.

werent delfouneso playing in that under 21 tournament in the summer though? so he missed a large chunk of pre season, at first i thought we was just easing him back into it because he was playing for the under 21s all summer but dont look to be the case now Hope he will get his head down and then hopefully get a chance again because i do rate him just think too much is expected of him when he isnt quite ready yet. lets hope we havent got another luke moore on our hands.

so petrov's the new scapegoat now is he? was that because downing scored? forget about whether hes good enough for a cl chasing side because were not going to be doing that this season and by the looks of things we havent got the money to afford a top class midfielder thats good enough for a champions league chasing side. i cannot understand some of the stick petrov gets, yes he passes backwards and sideways sometimes but he also passes forward as well and its called keeping possession or do you just want him to go the stoke route, lump it forward and lose the ball.

lay off kevin mac for a start off, hes in a difficult position. if we held out for a draw or win no one would be mentioning the players getting knackered, they didnt look knackered at all at 1-0 or 1-1 and so they shouldnt be when its only the 4th game of the season and there've (most of em) have just had a 14 day break. Heskey was brought on probably because gabby hasn't played much football so far this season so he would of been feeling it at the end. anyway its the morning after the night before and im still gutted, it wasn't a free kick and the free kick was taken about 10 yards further than it should of be and when your playing a non footballing side like stoke its advantage for them with all the high balls the put in the box that the free kick is closer. thought we played well and we didnt deserve that. Ashley young was my MOTM been really impressed with him playing in the hole this season and also what impressed me last night is seeing him put the foot on the ball and use his strength a bit more to hold it up and bring other people into play instead of going down to easily looking for the foul. same here general, even with this seasons issues with the kit, nike have definatley made the best kits we have had in a long time as well as the training wear and they are big name brand that which help us when people see there logo on kit. If we are to get rid of nike though i hear there a another big name brand adidas that i think we would do a dam good job with our kits. I know its not as easy as that though. keep up the good work.
