    Yeah the passing is all well and good, but we aint doing shit with it, I noticed this in one of our friendlies. I hope Lambert doesnt make the mistake of trying to be so opposite of longball that we pass with no **** aim, we need players! FULL STOP! Nzobia has been shit, couple times we could have broke and he wankered it, Ireland is trying, had a couple very good passes and movements, El Ahmadi has been decent, although given it away a couple times, We havent utilised the wings at all really. Sigh. Anyway lets see what becomes of the first half.

    Agree with the above on this, whilst i'm not giving up on Delph, Herd has definitely been the more solid and consistent player, deserves a starting spot more than Delph imo.

    I agree with alot of what you lot have been saying, but doesnt anyone think the fact that we got the man all excited, made him fall in love with the club, as well as show disloyalty to his own club and then snubbed him would piss anybody off? If the roles were reversed and one of our players did the same would they not be torn to shreds by our own fans and look like a right pratt for expressing their desire for a move so confidently?. I side with the club, but we've definitely embarrassed Vlaar!

Realistically though, I thought El Ahmadi was supposed to be the one dealing with his role, I know nothing about this fella though. I remember years ago i did wish we had someone like Papa Bouba Diop in our midfield though.

    Twitter say Lambert pulled the plug on Naughton because at Norwich he was quoted 3 million and at Villa he was quoted 6 million. Probably fair play.
