    Their centre backs would walk into our team at the moment. Not that Baker would notice ZZZZZZZZZZZ True, but I think that says something about the standard of performance we expect from our CBs these days more than the standard of player Manchester United is likely to let us have. We'd probably end up with something better, but good? I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure Evans isn't the answer, and who else is going to be coming from them realistically? A loanee maybe? Wilson? (yes please)

    I've watched them all. Amavi has been excellent and I was impressed with Gay as well. He covers a lot of ground and has a good eye for a pass. Not exactly new but Gil has also been impressive.

    If you give someone regular gifts they develop a taste for it and want more. New GK, RB and a CB that are better than the ones we currently have please. (not saying ours are crap, just saying i want better ones, shiny new ones, french, called Jordan). Thats all.... for now....

    just think crespo is similar to baker in that he's a centre back that can cover a full back if needed; left for baker, right for crespo. and with ayew being able to play wide or through the middle and veretout and gueye playing any role in the midfield looks like sherwood has gone for players with the ability to play multiple positions and formations http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jose-angel-crespo/profil/spieler/37397

    Funny thing is based on the signings so far it would appear that we actually have money to get a decent CB. To be honest i'm still not certain why Senderos has been written off as he was very good for us before his injury! I agree. I thought he was very good but I have also written him off due to his injury record. joe Cole is very good when he plays but realistically I would rather the squad number went to someone we can use more often
