  1. I thought that but thought it was too much of a coincidence to have rows and rows of empty seats together in that one block of Doug Ellis stand.
  2. My missus cousin isn’t happy about the new ground news. He’s worried they won’t be proper blues anymore .
  3. Yeah that’s fair enough mate and a perfectly good reason . I get the club needs to try and bridge some of the gap with the clubs above us but it’s been a big hike for fans. When you have a few empty seats like against Brentford though it does question the apparent 30k waiting list.
  4. For the most part in this competition we’ve been under cooked . Hopefully we can start upping our game over both legs.
  5. If it is actually going to happen then it will make things interesting regarding our future ground extension or possible new ground as some think will happen .
  6. Let em’ build it. It has no relevance to us one bit. Be interesting to see how they try to fill it, and that’s not a dig. Very cheap tickets and a decent team would of course help.
  7. Why? Their goal would be to stay up and I’m not sure that appeals to him . Better clubs would be interested in him not that we want to sell him .
  8. Don’t think we can afford a free hit . We must go there expecting to come away with something. I hope one day we get that winning mentality at the club .
  9. Shocking really when people moan about fans shouting or even dare to get behind the lads. No wonder it’s so quiet .
  10. I noticed loads of empty seats in the Doug Ellis near to the holte end . My mate was in lower holte and said there was a few empty seats near him. Also noticed Trinity lower with a few noticeable empty seats . Strange really because we are doing really well and it was a 3 o’clock kick off against less expensive opposition.
  11. I agree but if not I wouldn’t write us off easily
  12. Yeah we don’t want any drums. Just flags, banners even balloons which I used to love seeing in the 90s. Hopefully it takes off. I think fan groups really need to push for crazy train to be stopped. Hi Ho Aston Villa is great , but leave it at that . Got no objection with the fireworks either . I was sat in K4 third row from the front yesterday and it was pretty good in terms of atmosphere . The Small Heath get battered chant seems to get most of the ground going I noticed yesterday.
  13. A few seats available in the upper Doug Ellis where away fans normally go. Might go and sit there with my son see what it’s all about
  14. I thought the atmosphere was decent yesterday. Pre match it was loud but got drowned out by crazy train which has no relevance to the club . Don’t mind them keeping the fireworks and smoke but get rid of the music and let the fans do it.
  15. Can see Forest taking the lead at some point today then spurs doing what they do and get the late winner.
  16. Very tough game this, but as the competition goes on you have to play better teams. We really could do with winning but even if it was a draw you’d still say we have a good chance of getting the result over there, but yes let’s hope we go over there with the advantage.
  17. I’d still be of the same opinion about the city game if we had won today. The fact we threw points away today has just added fuel to the fire for us that think Emery got it wrong against city.
  18. Got ya , I didn’t know that. That is shit.
  19. At one point I was screaming at him to run down the right where there was plenty of space when one of our players was looking for the run
  20. The booking was always going to happen within next few games. May as well get it out the way so he’s back with us for the final push in those 4 games we have him back for.
  21. I think he came on because he came on against West Ham and scored , and didn’t play too bad against city . Emery maybe thinking he could come on and have a bigger impact than Diaby who himself has been showing signs of a bit of form.
  22. We rested players for today I assume? I know it’s tough going but I simply can’t have us resting players when we are sitting 4th going to city who are only a few points ahead(at the time) in 3rd . I’m not downplaying injuries etc but it was an hard pill to swallow for me. We rested Bailey and he was off the pace today. We’ll all have our opinions and either is right or wrong but we are all still behind the team and manager. I saw it today the fans were great, and the team got clapped off even though many of us were very disappointed.
  23. You don’t play weakened teams in the league when you're occupying 4th spot. You concentrate on the game in front of you and you put a team out that you think gives you the best possible chance of points. We never did that against city and in a way sacrificed that game for today in which we get beat anyway. Not saying we would have got anything against city with those players rested but it’s not the point .
  24. I didn’t see the logic in it either but oh well disgraceful today letting that 2.0 second half lead slip to Brentford.
