That was the Villa up to New Year. Absolutely fantastic tonight. Watkins is some player - the running he gets through. Big shout out to Targett who was fantastic yet again - my player of the season. Also, Barkley was quality - quality on the ball, no sign of rustiness/clumsiness and more physical.

His passing is so telegraphed. I could see what he was about to to and the resulting interceptions a mile off.

We deserved to win that. On the 🏖 Chuffed for Davis. I couldn’t believe Barkley started but I thought he had a good game as did Ghazi and Targett. Traore is a big concern for me. No pace, strange decisions and blows hot and cold with quality. Hope Jack is back soon - we are hard to watch without him. Also really want to see him at the Euros.
