    Friedel did well, defence did pretty well and so did the midfield with the exception of Ash. It was a combination of us being a bit poor up-front and them defending very tidily - especially Chris Samba.

    Playing well today - Petrov and Downing's passing has been very good. Chris Samba is looking very sharp for them though!

    MON did well to get them and he picked up two gresast players - but let's not get ahead of ourselves he also signed Knight, Harewood & Heskey - so whilst these transfers were great not everything turns to gold... Knight who he made a profit on, Harewood who was a 'body' (remember when everyone said we needed some of those) and Heskey who is 3rd choice? And bought for a combined fee of roughly 11mil? It's a nothing argument if you're trying to use them to play down the great players he has brought to the club.

    youve said it all - coupled with good cup runs shows we are progressing and becoming a force once again. just need to ensure the team is competitive next season. i wd love to finish above man city spurs and liverpool though this year! well weve put ourselves back in the mix. And people think MON is a bad manager

    Dunne tbf didn't come close to Collins due to the monumental marking error he made when Hull should have scored. He decided to rectify his mistake by trying to turn himself into a siamese twin with Vennegoor though... He was great as usual otherwise.
