  1. Santa Cruz.Ashton is too injury prone but I'd like both.
  2. The guy is a quality player but there's no doubt (as it has been said all summer) that we will survive without him. I know it sounds strnage but it really doesn't matter to me at the moment. We sell him to get good money and get someone else in but if we can keep in we have kept one of our best players.
  3. I'd say this years due to the Keeper and we still have Bouma as well.
  4. After thinking about it, yes for me as we have a great board and the right manager in place. Although we need more players.
  5. I dunno why I bother.. I believe it was BCV that posted something interesting yesterday. I believe only 5 teams had bought more players than us, and only 3 had spent more money (Or something very similar). It's quite simply a myth that we don't do anything. On another note, I was looking in one of the papers earlier and they had a preview for each team and how they thought we'd do, they had the predictions like this: 1: Chelsea 2: United 3: Liverpool 4: Arsenal 5: Spurs 6: Villa 7: Everton 8: Man City So it seems the media doesn't think there's much of a problem, and they think MON will get it sorted, must just be a few fans on here that don't have faith on our boss then. I hope MON will get it sorted and I think he will but I don't think we can compare ourselves to other teams in termms of signings whether we have a lot of players or not. The fact is we have no recognised right back and no left back fit any time soon. It is what we need that counts .
  6. Can't really answer even though it is yes or no. The fact we have thee board in place at the moment and MON is great but the squad is a slight concern for me.
  7. Not sure. Got a feeling it will be quite open this year in terms of Chelsea and Manure.

    Newcastle FC

At the moment I'd say no.
  9. General, I'd just like to pass on my best wishes to Wilfred Bouma and hopefully he gets better real soon.
  10. So Redman what is your take on Barry POSSIBLY playing on Saturday?
  11. I think we can consider O'Neill's letter to be more of a ransom note than a starting point for negotiation. Really? What did it say? That sounds awfully ITK... Not ITK buddy, just good old-fashioned common sense. Sorry but it isn't common sense if you don't know either way.
  12. Interesting. Of course he might not play but interesting.
  13. Surely alcohol counts.... :winkold:

    Revels

Raisin for me as well. If I have a pack of these they are always the ones I don't eat/give to someone else.
  15. The bloke is nearly 35, he has young kids, and has been offered a job close to where he has lived for the last 3 years or so, give him a break, how many people in his circumstances would move their family to sit on the bench of a PL club, assuming any want him. And apprantly has a problem with his knee that, if it goes again, could end his career.
  16. mwahhaahaha can it get any worse for the blosers? Oh dear...
  17. He sort of dissappeared when Bruce left. I thought he was one of there best players against us at the Sty.
  18. Maybe due to the fact they can't even fill the sty.
  19. BOF, who would win the most fairest player in the Prem at this time?
  20. Mellberg was good but was no GOD.
