    Great stuff. On the day we had the quality to go in win the game. I'm so pleased. Those bad old years are well and truely behind us now!!!

    The fact is that he is a guy with troubles who disruptes the changing room and imo he ain't better than John, Gabby, or Luke anyway. He comes up witht he odd goal out of the ordinary, not a 20 goal a season striker. Haven't we learned from buying troublesome strikers from Liverpool...

    I dunno if he'd want to go there and I think it would be a strange decision if he did. With the likes of Emre and Parker he might find it hard to get into the team plus the fact that other clubs with a brighter future want him.

    No Way. Apart from the fact that we need to keep Ridgewell and anything else I don't want to help them out of their defenders problem. There I might make the exception.

    SHA by miles. Despite being surrounded by baggies fans I don't hate them so much. I have no feelings towards Walsall or Wolves.

    Blimey that defence looks a bit dodgy IMO and I'd have Davis in midfield before Ferguson.

    Like others have said I think Ferguson had his time in the premiership and either disliked it or wasn't good enough. I would prefer us to sign a wide player TBH.

    Bent won't go to West Ham I'm sure of that because it's around that he might go there. I reckon he'll stay at Charlton at least till the end of the season.

    Your right and that amount of money is absolutly riduculous. Bent fair enough but I doubt I'd pay 2 million for Yound. I don't rate him at all.

    Hmm. Good player, would be a decent aquisition, but not the finisher we have been looking for. Sign a decent striker with him and i will be happy. He could play in midfield of course...

    Problem=We just recently paid approx 8 million for Petrov so i can't see MON forking out money for a playmaker (not disagreeing that we need one).

    I'm pretty sure a lot of defenders will disagree with you on that one. Gabby is a play that should be playing but perhaps he is in need of a little break but with the depth of our squad it is impossible at the moment. On my shopping list would be: RB LB LM RM S (possibly 2) TBF we arn't going to get all of the above so it will hopefully be at least one of RB/LB and LM/RM.

    I would agree with giving Samuel another chance. Probably should be left back so we can use Barry's qualities in midfield but we have Samuel, Bouma and Whitts who can play there but the problem is are any of these good enough.

    Defo agree that we need a new RB that gets forward.

    I take exception to the enourmous Man Utd support all around the ground today in Villa seats. Then again, it does happen every season.

    Viduka is not the answer to our problems IMO unless we got him for nothing. He seems to be quite injury prone and is not the 20 goal a season striker we have been craving for. Would love to see Darren Bent in the ranks however because I think he would be scoring more goals for us than he does for Charlton.

    I don't a Distin as high as some people do but that's just my opinion on him. I would say we needed a RB, a winger of sorts and a striker. Perhaps a LB as well.

    Just a quick question general. A few weeks ago someone I know who works at Aston Hall said they saw an american person sizeing up furniture and rooms etc. I was wondering if you could tell me if this has any relationship with Aston Villa, or you and Randy or if it is just a mere coinidence?

    Would like to have Nugent but we would have to sign another striker that has been proven at the top level.

    Bellamy has many useful attributes such as his pace. He also has many terrible attributes such as his attitude. I also think he is not the goalscorer that we need.

    Good player both creative and a defensive midfielder but I'm not sure where he would fit in.

    BFR without a doubt. I think that UEFA cup season with Little/Gregory (I can never remember if we were under JG in any of those games however or if it was just little) in the 97/98 season (the back end obviously because the start was fecking awful) was good too.
