  1. To be fair to zog one of his main flaws always seemed to be a fundamental inability to pass the ball to anyone - he's going that this evening it's quite strange.
  2. Maybe this is what Gabby s been doing in training - looking like a different player tonight!
  3. Wow it really is like watching paint dry - blue paint that the cat might walk in at any second and smear all over your sofa.
  4. he worked in Premier League since 2009 And has never been near relegation, that's my point. He's not ten - he's a businessman of course he knows relegation = huge financial loss, but he's gambling, trying to protect his investment with the minimum amount of money possible. I'm hopeful the new TV deal should make it worth paying Lambert off with the hopes of turning the club around.
  5. I'd take Gus Hiddink- he's been under pressure as the Dutch National coach, and is a great man motivator - which is what we need!
  6. Agreed, I just don't think Lerner/Fox will pull the plug :-( they seem to be as deluded as he is. Hopefully the extra PL money gives them the impetus.
  7. If anyone can take an ipad to the game on Sunday I will skype in to hurl my discontent at that numptie!
  8. You have to laugh or you'll cry/have a postal rage filled meltdown - this is pretty spot on, and some much needed comic relief. "He was in the six yard box, ok it was a goal kick and he was tying his shoe lace, but it was brilliant"
  9. I'm pleased he's scoring and getting regular football again. IMO he was managed appallingly.
  10. Poll - oh and can anyone send me Tom Fox's email, i don't normally email protest letters to CEOs but the time has come....
  11. I'd take Sherwood now as well, not because I want him, but because he's possibly the best of the bad bunch available
  12. This is the problem, forget saving our season - if we play like this in the Championship we'll struggle.
  13. Commentators complaining about players - but it's very obvious they don't know what the hell they're meant to be doing. Look at Gil - you think he's suddenly stopped trying, after 3 games? No of course he hasn't - he's clearly trying to play to the manager's tactics (whatever they are?!?) Get out you muppet Lambert!!!!!!
  14. All right, I want Hull to get another one or two here now, I tonking by Hull has to get that muppet sacked but I fear a 2 nil loss won't be enough. We're out of the game now so the worse the score the more pressure on that ...

  16. IMO we need to be looking at putting in a strategy to come back up straight away - that means a team rebuild and new manager - but who? I can't see us turning it round now - getting rid of Lambert now won't be enough as who would replace him? We should have gone for Pulis but we've left it to late!
  17. He simply has to go, I fear we've left it too late though.
  18. Would love Cahill on a free tbh - scores goals, a lot
  19. Yes. Till the end of the season anyway. Tim Cahill would be a great signing in my opinion, as soon as I saw him available my thoughts were we should get him. Experienced player, really knows the premiership, good leader, can score goals anything else?
  20. Would anyone take Tim Cahill on a free for 12 months? He's old but always v under rated IMO?
  21. Yeah what worries me is that keane's high standards seem to consist of 'turning up on time' and not having a casual approach to training! This is the bare minimum one would expect. When you get paid what most people earn in a year in a week and can't be bothered to put a shift in, damn straight someone should haul you over the coals for it!
  22. Holtby is shit. It's been 4 years since I first started watching him play, not one incident springs to my mind of anything productive he has ever done. Agreed, he seems to be one of these players you get occasionally whose reputation inflates in directly inverse proportion to the actual achievements he manages. I have to admit I don't know enough about him to make a judgement, so if he's terrible and a player who will be permanently consigned to the bench then it's a waste of money. Would he be worse than our current midfield, without Delph though?
  23. https://metro.co.uk/2014/11/26/why-sunderland-fans-are-laughing-as-aston-villas-darren-bent-moves-to-brighton-4963605/ Wow, this amazes me - it was years ago. Even if it was Stuart Downing I can't imagine many Villans reacting like this. When will they let it go?
