  1. Oh dear, the Do Badleys AKA the Barley Boo's I remember putting them on in small clubs in Liverpool back in the day dontcha know. Was never really a fan tbh but they did pull the punters in It's the only song I really like. They went all shiny and produced after this.
  2. Boo Radleys - Kaleidoscope (First time I've heard it for a decade and it sounds just as good as I remember it.)
  3. A very nice gentleman has e-mailed us asking us to enter a competition to pick an all-time world cup XI. This is to help publicise England's bid for the World Cup in 2018 and they would like as many of us as is possible to register our support here.. By adding this link to the competition they are hoping we'll help towards achieving their target of two million registered fans supporting the bid to bring the World Cup to Villa Park and some other places in this country. Now, here's the interesting bit, the forum with the closest line up to an XI selected by John Barnes (one of the bid's Vice Presidents) will win the chance to send a forum correspondent to the post-match press conference for the England versus Andorra match on June 10th, as well as a ticket for the match itself. They would like a team submitted by the 5th June, which means we've only got the rest of this week, so please register your support for the England's World Cup bid and vote here for your all-time best World Cup Forward. Thank you.

  8. Seen here ruling himself out of the running for the Celtic job.
  9. Hart, apparently good old Sven will be in by the middle of next week at Pompey. Is it my imagination or is it part of the due diligence process for any takeover that the team involved is linked with Sven Goran Ericssen in the opening weeks of the takeover?
  10. That's a gross misrepresentation. Shame on you. I would never grow a moustache.
  11. United weak in the centre of the pitch. Carrick - Giggs - Anderson Not good enough as a three.
  12. Dennis Mortimer with the European Cup still looks just as good 27 years on.
  13. I quite liked the butterfly effect. Interesting.
  14. I've a feeling that this will be the last final played in Rome for some time. It'll be interesting to see what sanctions UEFA will take after the inevitable stabbings. That's a cheery thought isn't it.
  15. Wait a second, what am I talking about, this is easy: This club has never achieved three consecutive seasons with over sixty points. That's what I'd be happy with next season.
  16. Hard to vote in as every one of those options looks like success to me. I think a top eight finish is enough in the league, although I'll obviously be happier with fourth than eighth and I'd like to see us do well in both the domestic cups and in the Europa League.
  17. Brick is a great little film and a good start for a first film, funded alot by himself the director. Good mystery with a great atmosphere. If you enjoyed it his second film is due soon I was looking at that last night Jez, looks an interesting project if an odd departure. I'm hopeful but I think it might prove an anti-climax.
  18. Brick. Starts in about forty minutes on your TV box.
  19. UP & DOWN SEX At a Senior Citizen's luncheon, an elderly gentleman and an elderly lady struck up a conversation and discovered that they both loved to fish. Since both of them were widowed they decided to go fishing together the next day. The gentleman picked the lady up, and they headed to the river to his fishing boat and started out on their adventure. They were riding down the river when there was a fork in the river, and the gentleman asked the lady, 'Do you want to go up or down?' All of a sudden the lady stripped off her shirt and pants and made mad passionate love to the man right there in the boat ! When they finished, the man couldn't believe what had just happened, but he had just experienced the best sex that he'd had in years. They fished for a while and continued on down the river, when soon they came upon another fork in the river. He again asked the lady , 'Up or down ?' There she went again, stripped off her clothes and made wild passionate love to him again. This really impressed the elderly gentleman, so he asked her to go fishing again the next day. She said yes and there they were the next day, riding in the boat when they came upon the fork in the river and the elderly gentleman asked, 'Up or down ?' The woman replied, 'Down.' A little puzzled and disappointed, the gentleman guided the boat down the river when he came upon another fork in the river and he asked the lady,'Up or down ?' She replied, 'Up.' This really confused the gentleman so he asked, 'What's the deal? Yesterday, every time I asked you if you wanted to go up or down you made mad passionate love to me. Now today, nothing!' She replied, 'Well, yesterday I wasn't wearing my hearing aid and I thought the choices were **** or drown...
