I feel he's just been unlucky here with injuries. I don't think he was injury prone at Barca so hopefully he'll be fit and raring to go soon. Probably said this before but I genuinely cannot wait until (or if) he forces his way into the team and absolutely demolishes opposition full backs.

Absolutely spot on. I've seen things he possess which I don't think any of our midfielders in his position have (Maybe Tshibola) - which is quick feet with the ability to turn away from players with quick turn. Then he has a quality delivery with his set-pieces. The talent is there!! C'mon Jordan.....stay!

After watching our midfield yesterday, Jordan Veretout needs to start....if he's not going that is.

He's got some quality. There's no denying that - he just needs to buckle down and show it. To his credit, he was trying hard yesterday.

So why hasn't anyone touched him with a barge-pole? Says a lot when clubs are willing to go with untried and untested managers then him. It's his opinion, so fair enough but people should take it with a pinch of salt. FWIW, I think we'll have a tough start to the season, but we will find our feet and will be up there come the end of the season.

Spot on. I'd have to say that is confirmation we're definitely in for him, or we're close to signing him.

I'm a big fan of Veretout, just purely based on the fact he is ridiculously comfortable on the ball, and is probably the best set piece taker at the club since Young. Last season,despite us being shite, he still got a good amount of assists, and could've had much more if it wasn't for bad finishing on our part. He's a big talent, just had a kid last year as well and moved to a country where he didn't know the language. I'm willing to cut the guy some slack and hopefully last season was a learning curve for him. If he stays he could be one of our best players this coming season.
