  1. I agree with Con, Bannan would have buried every set piece we had today like he's done all season. Corners, throw ins, goal kicks, you name it Bannan would have scored from it. Edit - Best player in the world this year IMHO, if Real Madrid can sign him and Bale they'll piss the CL next season.
  2. Yeah but next season's kit will look as good as Lazio's. Hashtagbelievedat
  3. That would explain why Pardew was so keen on him.
  4. The implications are that we don't lose loads of ground on the clubs we should be competing with.
  5. Could depend on whether he gets the Everton job! What other top jobs are there going? He's turned down us and Liverpool He turned down us and Liverpool when he had a secure PL job though. Now he's got a trophy on his CV and he's unlikely to top that with Wigan. If he doesn't get the Everton job then Malaga might have an opening.
  6. Martinez, Di Santo, Maloney, McCarthy and McManaman will all leave.
  7. Can't **** wait for this transfer window. If we sign Yaya Banana I'll seizure with delight.
  8. 8th-9th, 50pts+ playing beautiful football with 3-4 more signings nobody saw coming.
  9. I feel bad for every single other person that is connected to that club.
  10. I'd take 0-0 no problem, we'd be mathematically safe We wouldn't be mathematically safe at 0-0 after 80 minutes which I think was his point. I'll be flapping if it gets to that tbh.
  11. No it doesn't. :S I don't even know how to argue that, it seems that it would be inherently obvious to anyone who has played any sport before.
  12. How is it not? I would completely disagree. You simply can't be a playmaker even in the non-professional leagues without great spatial awareness because you need to have an idea where everyone is, and will be, before and after you've kicked the ball. Your criticisms may be accurate but it has nothing to do with spatial awareness. He is probably misjudging the speed of the game, and is being indecisive, unable to make up his mind which pass is best before he gets closed down. These things improve with game time. Vision is about where other people are on the pitch in relation to each other. Spatial awareness is about your own position in relation to others. He can see a pass but he can't see that he doesn't have the space to make it.
  13. His spatial awareness is bad. He holds off a player too far before they receive the ball and then mistimes his closing down and gets turned over and over again. He makes bad use of space, regularly turning the to the wrong side to put himself under pressure unnessecarily. And he managed to crash on the **** deserted motorway I don't have any stats to back that up as its quite difficult to quantify though, sorry. Edit- Having vision and having spatial awareness are not the same thing.

Hearing Mike Dean is reffing has made me disproportionately nervous. Curse you.
