I hate trolls. Childish. Proper discussions should not be impaired just so some kid can amuse himself. Trolling?....

I think this comes down to people believing the symptoms and the illness are one and the same. Giving up goals? Defense must be terrible. Not scoring? Need a new striker. The real problem for us the last several years, IMO, has been the midfield. Tim has taken great lengths to improve that part of the squad this season, and I think those improvements will pay off for both the defense and attack.

This is it for me. I am not expecting a big jump up the table because I fear we could struggle early as the team gels, but this is the first squad since the Milner/Young/Petrov days that I feel has the talent to really make a splash. That talent could all go for naught, but at least it has made me cautiously excited today.

I bloody hope not. I've never been a fan of keepers being captains, and I personally I don't think Guzan is vocal enough anyway. he's a yank, of course he's vocal. I normally find the problem is getting the loud **** to shut the **** up. Hard to be quiet when you are full of freedom. [emoji9]

And yet our best midfielder by far. If you do not think this is a disaster, you must have way more faith in Sherwood than I do in the transfer market. To be clear, it is fine if you do. I very well could be underselling him. I simply think he is unproven at best as a talent acquirer.

Why? Maybe because in the last 24 hours we learned that Fabian is a bit shit really. He's overrated, inconsistent, offers nothing to the team and can't pass... among other things Based on that there'll clearly be lots of disappointed Villa fans with the news that he's not actually leaving now I was referring purely to the editing of posts. What has been said has been said. No need to edit them! I did not think you should actually edit posts. I was sardonically pointing out the absurdity of the original posts. It is called a joke.

Of course you would. Stop thinking short term and think long term. Huge difference in your life between 3mil and 6milTo your back account yes but outside of greed, what difference could it make to your life? Considering how many ex-athletes end up broke, perhaps a big difference.

It was a fairly easy shot to control and he fumbled away. Almost landed at the feet of a Honduran player.

Was right on the touch line on his side in the first half. Made a great save early in the match and was solid throughout except for mishandling a fairly easy ball. His kicking looked a lot better tonight, too.
