  1. I would go for a 433 and forget this 442 non sense, with the 3 in the middle of the park being, Cm-Petrov,CM-Ireland,CM-Gardner... with Agbonlahor on the left cutting in on his right foot, Nzogbia on the right cutting in on his Left foot or swap them to and bent up front on his own.. I think this would be quite a good team.
  2. Yes. Especially if sha get promoted, which is looking depressingly likely. Could you imagine next season though, McLeish is going to be Verbally abused by both sets of fans haha.
  3. I was confused why he was tracking back near our own penalty box, winning the ball back then realizing their is no one to pass to because he is the one thats meant to be the outlet.
  4. As long has he controlles his tackles, he could well be a useful signing..
  5. God he is 19 get of his back lol, You can't judge a player on just a single game. Talk to me when Gary is 25 years old. he will be much better than his brother. And don't blame him, it was Mcleish tactics, 10 men behind the ball until the last 2 mins, then we start attacking, yeah great tactics McLeish... He sucks creative players dry.. If we had messi and ronaldo in our team, they would struggle. Don't judge a player on 1 game. judge him over the course of his career.
  6. Thats made my monday thank you.. I didn't actually realize this.. I guess because of the constant doom and gloom because we have a manager that will never finish above 14th. I mean anything could happen now, but i still believe we will finish closer to the drop zone than to 8th.
  7. doesnt really matter if we lose him, our defence will still be woeful, mistake prone.

  9. hes destroyng our club 1 day at a time. with his defensive crap football.
  10. im still suprised why we didnt try and get roy hodgson, hes a good manager i think.
  11. im sick and tired of this, whats the point in defending for about 85 mins, and then suddenly trying to get a goal at the end, and nzogbia needed to start imo.. very poor management.
  12. I think it will be Wigan, Blackburn and wolves. QPR,WBA just keeping their heads above water.
  13. I like he Steelers one alot, thats pretty cool. I wouldn't change the Ravens, the one they got now is awesome.
  14. Everyone knows that bent has the quality to bang goals in, he has done it at all the other clubs he has been in... he is NOT a target man, he struggles to hold the ball in his feet we all saw this against Newcastle, and with Mcleish Second half tactics ( Pumping it forward) he will never score loads, he has done well just to get how many he has got not tbh. The only times i re-call when bent had chances at goal was when he was thread with a through ball from Keane or ireland.. But even then he had 2 chances and failed to convert any of them.
  15. Compare our squad to Sunderland's and there is not much difference, how come they are doing so much better than us? Obvious answer i know.. They have a manager that can motivate the players, we don't.. its not that the team is a better team. Compare the two sides.
  16. So who would you guys prefer lerner go for if he had to choose either Bruce or keep Mcleish?
  17. I think it was a stupid decision to take n'zogbia and ireland.. The link up play between Ireland,Keane and N'Zogbia in the first half was absolutely working, we looked a threat to newcastle's goal... But as soon as we took Ireland and n'zogbia off we lost all rhythm in our play.
  18. Here is a novel thought. If the fans actually attempt to support them team, instead of sitting in silence waiting for one of them to make a stray pass and then vent ultimate rage at the team - we may just do it. The only time this season I have heard the fans support the team was Arsenal, now I know we lost it, but how well we played that day. Just a thought. Mate the people who dont like the McLeish generally stay away, so what you are actually saying is those who are tolerant of him are causing a poisonous atmosphere at Villa Park? Nice on you. ..............................and as usual, everyones fault except McLeish who is supposed to set up, motivate and send out a team mentally, physically and tactically capable of winning the game. The whole post is silly, but that bit tickled me. EVERYTHING is McLeish's fault. If the half time pies weren't hot enough, he'd get the blame. And believe me, there are plenty of McLeish haters still going up VP. WTF! So it's **** Mcleish's fault that the pie's are cold, the guy's an utter bastard! We know he's out of his depth unless RL is happy with 9th at best although I personally doubt he can even manage that, now back to the pie's Mmmmm I would happily take 9th now tbh, with everton winning loast night against city.
  19. when Warnock had a poor run of form under MON nothing was said thats because we were in a decent position haha.
  20. Sorry didnt mean to double post, can someone delete that?
  21. hes not back to his best, he was his best under MON.. And even then it was nothing to shout about.. hes just too slow, clumsy etc. we need a whole re vamp of the back 4.

  23. Im not blaming McLeish for the result but i will blame him for the reckless challenges, because im pretty sure he told the players to get stuck in at half time, which then lead to 2 penalties , there was no need for dunne to go in like that.
