  1. How was it predictable when nobody would have guessed this lineup Sorry, I meant him going all defensive and Heskey starting in midfield.
  2. More predictable, negative tactics from the ginger Mourinho.
  3. John, January is notoriously hard to do business. £4m for Hutton in the summer sums McLeish up for me. Do we trust him to spend wisely to get us up the table? His signings bar Given have left a lot to be desired so far.
  4. I was just about to mention the Enke tragedy. Did they not put things in place to look after players / officials following that?
  5. Different clubs being run by the same team and the results are going the same way. FACT. Now unless you can factually prove otherwise based on results which have happened your "point" ceases to exist. Avram Grant had world class players in his Chelsea side. Didn't he? He now wants the Northern Ireland job. Shows you just exactly how good Avram Grant was. Where did I actually state in any of my posts that I knew how McLeish will perform here. Quote me exactly please before spouting such rubbish as a factual statement. As for the Redknapp at Southampton argument, that also holds no weight. You could have appointed Alex Ferguson or Mourinho on that budget and they'd still have been shit. They might be good managers but they don't have a magic wand to wave.
  6. I bet you searched your symptoms online and came to that conclusion? I guarantee a lot of people search symptoms online and convince themselves they will be told by their doctor they are going to die.
  7. Maybe thats what Notts Forest wanted when they appointed a manager who spent 3 yrs at Derby, all but a few months at Brighton, then one month at Leeds. he then spent 17 happy years (I think) at Forest !. Only time will tell - I thought when we signed him, David O'Leary would be Villa manager for the next 15 yrs - look how that turned out !. What went on at the Blues, went on at the Blues, it does NOT mean it will happen here.! Yes, because our results this campaign have been top drawer and not similar to Blues last year at all. If you look back you'll find a whole lot of draws in the early stage against opponents we think we would beat, very similar to our campaign thus far. This time last year SHA had 16 points having played 14 PL games, including wins against Chelsea, and draws with City and Liverpool. I'm afraid the results so far indicate Eck is going the same way and we have yet to go through December where we have Liverpool, Arsenal, United, Chelsea and I can see us getting nothing there.
  8. The thing is though he mentions stability, how can you possibly expect stability when you appoint your rivals ex manager who has been relegated twice? He contradicts himself here beyond belief.
  9. One last pay cheque ££££££
  10. Lol, seems quite a few of us have went to the docs with achey balls. The docs are there for reassurance and to make sure you are ok. My doc took tests etc when I went and everything came back clear. I apoloised if I had wasted his time and he said not to be silly and as long as I was reassured then everything was ok. They are there for that.
  11. Its always important to look after your mental health and this does sound like a problem in that department. There is nothing more satisfying than receiving reassuring news from your GP. I'd arrange a visit. Honestly, they have heard and seen it all when it comes to peoples concerns, worries. Nothing to worry about.
  12. Nobody will be opening their wallet to buy a 34 year old who has been sitting on his arse for 3 years. No determination.
  13. Spurs have spent. 2010/2011 - Net total of £17.5m 2008/2009 - Net total of £19.45m 2007/2008 - Net total of £33.95m 2006 / 2007 - Net total of £23.80m 2005 / 2006 - Net total of £17.75m Source: http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premiership-transfers/tottenham-hotspur-transfers.html Since 1992 Spurs have spent significantly more than us £178m net total whilst we have spent £127m nt. We have been playing catch up with investment for quite a number of years. Spurs also have a chairman who has a reputation for being ruthless when it comes to selling players, and squeezes every last penny out of people he does business with.
  14. I think it was. Did he think people would be saying "unlucky"?
  15. I'd love a pepperoni passion from Dominos right now. Might have to settle for a Goodfellas frozen pizza. Oh and heres a tip: most stores do the 2 for 1 all week, but you have to phone the store. I've never been refused a 2 for 1 anytime I've asked.
  16. Everyone was ranting about Collins in his first year here. Since then its been downhill. He used to have Twitter but left after he got a mountain of abuse following a defeat, think his reaction was something like "Wow", are footballers that deluded they are surprised when people are angry?
  17. Not Beyes fault he was given that contract. Anyone else that says they would do differently is lying.
  18. The Times > other papers
  19. Habib Beye is a good player. Not sure why we signed him to put him on the bench. Very bizarre.
  20. Bale Vs Hutton. Sigh. Harry really done us there. Took Walker back and sold a dud in Hutton,
  21. Great. King Kenny will be hailed as the Anfield saviour once again. *Yawn* Dunno who I dislike more Johnson or Cole. Fair point. Can't believe I forot about Silva. Andy Carroll £35m. Silva £24m. Something defo not right there.
