What a fantastic job he's done, kept us up, got us playing some great stuff and a cup final on top. Superb Tim Sherwood. Look forward to the future under him and I fully believe him when he says we won't be near relegation worry next season.

Vlaar's is a villa career to forget. Some very good moments but overall a nothing player. Would have been much better off sticking with collins IMO. We'd have got much more out of him over the last few years.

He had the highest fouled to minutes played ratio before today, that must have shot up even more now. Not his best game, but still rarely does the wrong thing and wins so many free kicks.

Clark brings the best out of Okore, I don't think Vlaar does.

Myself and three out of the four guys I watched that with agree with his views.....perfectly valid thoughts. No if you were critical of lambert it means you have to be very critical of every manager when the team loses now. That's how it works. You're not allowed to look at the different situations.

Have a look at the half a dozen or so chances in the first half that almost resulted in goals too - they're all the same. I like him, i think he's a good manager, but he's still got things to learn and today he was rubbish. Agreed but they didn't score all those chances. I'm not arguing he got things spot on today, I'm just saying for the goals we conceded individual errors played more of a part.

We've been through this before. I won't judge sherwood the same way in which i judged lambert because the situations are different. If in 2 and a half years time, the team he builds puts in a performance like today then i'd judge him the same way. But for me, he picked the right team, the high line was a mistake but looking at the goals, i can see where individual mistakes have cost us more than the way the team was set up.

I look at the goals and individual mistakes are worse than the high line. We've lost the midfield battle because all 3 have played very poorly more than the tactical approach.

We won 2 games after dropping guzan. Those 2 wins are looking massive now. I dont think given is a brilliant keeper but I think bringing him in after guzan was awful at city played a part. We need a new keeper in the summer and keep guzan as back up.

Your attitude to given in the match thread is exactly the same. Not even close. Nice try though Given hasn't pulled up any trees over the last few games and has looked weak and I've said as much after those games.. I much prefer Guzan. Westwood always seems to cop flak if he doesn't play well in a single game. If you say so. I dont actually think Westwood deserves to be singled out over anyone else.

Crazy how virtually every player can be so awful after such a great run of performances.

Time to worry again.
