    Just hope the goal difference wont suffer too much Difficult game at a ground we are notoriously arse in. Had a decent 2nd half up there last season but the game was done and they took their foot off. Since they moved there I can only remember a 2-0 (Maloney FK) & that 4-2 in the cup in the lime green. Could have done with Kamara and McGinn and them without Rodri again but whatever, lets see how it transpires, be amazing to grab a point and try to stay undefeated for the run in.

    Such an important win, massive character again. Players keep dropping like flies but we keep ticking a long. This has just been a remarkable season, they keep exceeding expectations and delivering. 18 wins this season is superb at this stage. Brilliant strike from Diaby, he is looking like he’s coming back to the party just at the right time. Thought Tielemans was excellent, my MOTM. Finally Konsa gets himself back on a PL scoresheet, though I thought he wasnt great. Moreno’s worst game in a Villa shirt too. Zaniolo looked like the version we saw come on for his debut at Turf Moor, probably the best ive seen from him for a sustained period since signing. Digne very good again, he’s been excellent all season and excellent off the bench lately. 4 points from each of Wolves and West Ham this season- Unai truly is working magic here.

    This is very much a Must win for me. With Spurs at home to Luton earlier on in the day and us going to the Emptihad midweek, we need maximum points and a morale boost here. Very tough with all our absences, Wolves have a few missing too, but I worry they could dominate in the middle. Its just going to have to be one of those ‘ by hook or crook ‘ - just please get the job done. Nervy 2-1 win. Bailey and Dougie

    Great weekend for the mancs. Us and Spuds failing to win, them getting a huge morale boost beating their biggest rival. Could be the kick start they need to finish strongly. Good job they’re shite 90% of the time

    Diaby, Cash, Digne, Zaniolo all made a big difference. Thought we were decent second half and its a good point to take in what is a notoriously tough fixture for us. Torres MOTM, always bringing the ball out and looking to progress our play. Cash a close second for doing well both defensively and offensively in the limited time he had on the pitch. Good to see Diaby returning to some form again finally; looking much more like his old self the last couple of weeks. Happy to see Zaniolo rescue another point for us. Rest up now and lets finally beat the dogheads at Villa Park!
