  1. Get in! Seb Haller puts Dortmund in front.
  2. Incredible that Dortmund haven’t scored, except it’s Dortmund so what do you expect. Augsburg down to 10 men as well.
  3. Absolutely this. Playing in Europe is basically all we’re playing for league wise, and to not fully embrace and want that is madness to me. Imagine the away days and imagine European nights down VP again. Not to mention the fact that we’d competing in a major competition and actually having a chance to f***ing win the thing!
  4. Brann win the cup. Bring on Monday, when my city is liveable again.
  5. Got it all in our own hands now. You’d have taken that and ranna mile before today’s games.
  6. If I get to full time without being sick in my mouth I have no idea how. Nerves are killing me.
  7. Squeeky bums last 10 mins of that, but an absolutely brilliant first 30 mins. No doubt the 40k odd referees in the stands will get their will at some point though, so we’re gonna need another one at least.
  8. Been feeling shit since Wednesday. Probably got the old covid again (third time.) It’s like swallowing razorblades right now and I’m getting intensly bored just lounging around and not being able to spend any quality time with my son.
  9. Completely agree. I want no part of it. I support Aston Villa, «V Sports» or whatever it’s called means nothing to me. I’ll go one step further and say I despise any and all private ownership and control of a football club, but that’s for another time. Clubs should be owned and controlled by their members, and certainly not fall under the yoke of a dominant club within an international «group».
  10. I’ve met loads of perfectly nice Bergensians. Just don’t tell anyone I said that! They’ll be loudmouthed and smug this weekend, though. And understandably so. They get to go to the capital, an actual city, and play in the cup final
  11. The 2022 Cup final is tomorrow. Yes, that’s right, the previous years’ cups have been delayed for COVID reasons, so the final, which should have been played in November, is played tomorrow in Oslo. Lillestrøm will play Brann (Bergen) which means my dear city will be packed with loudmouthed, smug Bergensians all weekend. Best avoid the city all together.

    Fallen Angels

Yep, definitely. I’ll add Tiger Woods and Morrissey.
  13. You just hate to see it, Tom. Disgusting behaviour.
  14. Shame they had to take football back to the dark ages with the celebrations though.
  15. Yeah, Flint should have been off there.
  16. Hahaha, sure, fair point. Lillestrøm and Lyn are local rivals (there’s an element of class conflict with Lyn as well, as they are from the upper class areas of Oslo west) and Rosenborg are the Man Uniteds of Norwegian football. Molde, however, are just a nasty, horrible little club with no fans and lots of money from a rich owner. Dull town, terrible club that treats away fans like rubbish and named a rapist captain.
  17. Okay, I’m kinda proud of this one, as it’s my local club and I helped rig the banner. Vålerenga legend has ALS and was honoured at half time today:
  18. Aalesunds get their first goal of the season (game eight) and go on to beat local rivals Molde 3-1. Brilliant. I f***ing hate Molde.
  19. 3-0 home win and a display pre-game:
  20. If you want, I can mail you some stickers and we’ll make Worcester a Vålerenga colony
  21. Do I live in Worcester? No, I’ve barely passed through it I think. I live in/just outside Oslo. But that’s awesome. If you ever get the chance to take a pic and post it here, I’d be very grateful
  22. Aalesunds still haven’t scored a single goal this season. Seven games now Tomorrow is Norwegian football’s equivalent to Boxing Day. May 16th (day before our Constitution Day) always sees a full round of football, and big attendences. Vålerenga will host Hamarkameratene (literally: The Hamar Comrades.)
