HAHA, Joking right? He does nothing. One freekick on target don't mean he's going to be a star. Not joking - in my opinion we havent see the best of the lad yet. His free kicks, comers are excellent and As he gains in confidence he will be an excellent player.

FFS it's still very early days. I do not have strong opinions about Zog but I am not going to write him off so early in the season. Downing iirc got a lot of stick when he eventually recovered from injury but last season turned out to be one of our best players. It wouldn't surprise me if people are lauding Zog in a few months time, but likewise he may flop - but hasn't YET. I know times are not great but we have what we have and for now I will give Zog the benefit of the doubt - in reality we also have no alternatives. It's going to a looooong season.....

That can't be enough can it surely. The height of Aston Villa fans expectations has to be higher than that. Personally I want the club to be the best it can be and mid table mediocrity simply isn't the best this great club can do. Shit or shine I'll be there as I have been for more years than I'm caring to remember but the worst thing I could do, or any of us, is accept less than what this club deserves and should indeed question those running the club and push them if it appears they are not striving to get to the heights this great club is capable of getting to. this!

General Did you ever answer the comments about the promise that there would be lots of action? As for hearing from Randy Lerner, I am past caring what he thinks about the future of our club. He obviously doesn't feel the fans of the club deserve any of his precious words, verbally or in writing. Que sera, sera.... Oh by the way, based on the little we have heard from you, your comments remind me of the Dutch kid Peter with his finger in the dyke to prevent Holland flooding. I stlill believe Randy Lerner is planning to sell and that you are simply shoring up his investment by feeding us BS! Come on, you are obviously a very intelligent bloke, do you seriously expect the fans to believe that we have a hope in hell of achieving 4th?

I seriously believe this could be RL's last year as owner and that he is positioning the club for a sale. For some unknown reason there are plenty of billionaires out there who want to waste their money on buying premiership clubs but I feel that RL has concluded that it is all too rich for him. The next few weeks transfer activity and his attendances at VP next season will be very telling.

IF the claim that AM has said we will only make one more signing is true, do you feel your comments a while ago about Randy Lerner backing the manager and preferring Actions to Words now look very hollow? Is Randy Lerner lining the club up for sale? If so he had better do it before we are relegated!

Seems like your promise of action was just bullsh*t If Randy Lerner is no longer ambitious for Aston Villa can he please put the club on the market to see if someone else is?
