Depends, if you get really pissed, sing all game with your shirt off, piss into bottles and throw them and stuff, then he'll be quite excited by the whole thing. He'll be able to hear the siren and see the flashing lights and everything.

Europa Conference League Draw - Round of 16
romavillan replied to alreadyexists's topic in UECL16: Ajax a
Yeah deffo, I think it's a bigger advantage to play away first now than it was. Like if you were say an anti football catenaccio master, you could just go and say "no football today chaps" and get a 0-0, then at home you go for it with home advantage. Any way you nullify the away leg means there's more pressure on the team playing away second to actually try and score. Which means they'll be more open. We aren't going to try and kill the game the old school Italian style, but we could try and just knock it around the back 4, emi and the DMs for 90 minutes for a very similar end result. At least with the away goals there was an incentive for the side playing away first to score, because if you concede at home in the second leg and you haven't scored you absolutely have to win on the night... -

WTF, so essentially opens the door to a team playing away first just playing for a 0-0? Not smart. -
Europa Conference League Draw - Round of 16

Haha, I'd been working with it open on my phone for **** ages. Ajax it is. That could easy have been the final, good to go away first though, must score. 2-1 loss not a bad result, I'm assuming away goals count double if a draw right? -

Live draw video just sprang to life for me. -
Not easy, we might win comfortably but we'll have to earn it against these.

Well, the ultras eventually were intent on **** him up after he'd been scapegoated and to be fair he was an easy target. He was threatened in a way that would be impossible in the UK, and Mourinho (the word removed) fanned the flames, especially after a game against Napoli IIRC. It was an impossible situation even if he wanted to play. So probs his representatives and AS Roma were trying to find a way out at all costs. He could still do it here, who knows. If he can hit some form he'll make a big impact. Bailey was completely written off, at one point even @JAMAICAN-VILLAN was saying it hadn't worked out. That was after he'd had more time than Zaniolo has had...

Did Wesley's genes make Ben Mee smash his knee to bits? There were quite a few on here saying he'd get 20+ goals this season if he stayed fit playing in this team in the summer when a lot of people were crying out to sign a striker...
-
haha yeah ollie's last few touches were him looking out the corner of his eye waiting for him to turn up!
-
The running he gets through is insane, you can see why he's always the last man standing in them pre-season run till you drop drills. He would excel in any of the ultra endurance sports.

Either he or Martinez need to make it theirs but neither did. On the whole Lenglet was calm and competent.

Love Craven Cottage, used to work in Hammersmith and made full use of the neutral section when they played midweek. Great ground.

To be fair, for those of us with eyes, the signs were all there against United. We should have won that easy, we had less than half the shots on target today and we've beat a very good Fulham at their place. If Bailey's shot off the bar had gone in we'd have run riot. Emery is a top word removed, no way round it. Even with the injuries and players still playing their way into some form (Ramsey, Moreno) we play some very nice football. An injury to Watkins would be interesting but fingers crossed ay.

I don't think majority agree with North stand decision, possibly just resigned to the decision being out of their hands. The sooner we get 50k+ at VP the better. We need it asap for ffp, atmosphere, all sorts of reasons. The badge was a complete **** up, it looks like it was done by a five year old compared to the round badge. None of us remember 1874 either but it's an important part of our history. The round badge was on our best looking kits, an Adidas kit with it on could become an icon. Heck's decisions have reeked of short termism and knee jerk reckless management. Might it be that the explanation for him acting like a dickhead is simply that he's a dickhead?

Not sure who'll adapt better being the left footed right sided CB. Want to see Tim start after hearing the presser. It's a tough game but if we can hit some form we've got enough.
