Play anything like we did yesterday again and then we will go down. However, if we can make the first 50 mins last for the entire 90, then there is hope. Lots to be done to make that happen.

Please explain to me what else we have from that, that is visible on the league table. For sure, the two goals Weimann scored were good, there was also a couple of good Individual performances.... I also think the team looked a lot fitter. But, we were 2-0 up, and then we lost 3-2... That, no matter what you say, is bollox. That is not good for us in anyway!

Annoying when people say that was a great performance.... We freaking lost! It's even worse the fact we managed to score two goals and then still throw it all away.... That's not good at all! Darren bent took 43 shots last year with 26 of them on target. That makes him the person with the highest shots on target ratio (60.5%). Only 4 shots were blocked.

Clearly, Lambert feels Bent does not contribute much to the team in terms of actually creating play. He is a finisher. We have Benteke who can finish and offers something else during the build up. Maybe they can work together again in the future, or maybe not. Who knows, apart from Lambert. People are saying we need to be patient, and people are saying why should we be patient after waiting for something good to happen to the club for a few years now. You have to ask yourself what choice you really have? You gonna give up supporting the club after god knows how many years just because we have struggled to get things right since MON left? I am certain that Randy is 'trying' to do his best. I am certain that Randy knows what is going on at the club and what realistically needs to be done in order to move upwards - to where we belong? I am certain that he sold the Browns so he could turn his attentions to his own project that he bought for himself, and will do what needs to be done, whether it be in Jan or the summer to move us onto that path we once walked along, when everybody was buzzing with excitement at every game we played. Im happy with Lambert and with what he is doing to the team. It's about time some of our players received a kick up the arse. There are a couple of substitutions that have confused me a little though, quite why Weimann came on yesterday I'll never know. If anybody, it should have been Ireland so he could try and keep the ball towards the other end of the pitch a bit. But, the result stayed the same so, who knows what he was thinking. I personally believe we will be relegated this season, but I will still want Lambert to remain as manger. We need some stability in the ranks now, and I believe should we go down, we will be right back up again! Will also allow us to remove more of the crap we have in the squad. Deep down, I am praying that Randy will use some of his Browns money to help improve us... But i am far from convinced we will see any of that dollar. If he does decide to use it on us, I think we will go mental with it and we could well see a few VT melt-downs in the next couple of windows. Ultimately, if the worst does happen, we will all go down together, but we will come up together as well, you just gotta stick with it... Bad times happen everywhere, and whilst this is very bad times as the moment, there has to be some light somewhere. But remember, there are far worst things going on in the world than this....

I think our media channels, the things villa put on for fans, the 'product' of Aston villa is excellent in my opinion. We are probably more financially sound than most clubs as well. You can't seriously think that everything is shit about the club?

Aston Villa at the moment is currently at each end of the spectrum for the business and football (on the pitch) side of things. I think our business development/marketing teams are brilliant and always seem to do things properly. I personally think that commercially we are an absolute dream club. So now the football, you can see what Lambert is trying to do and I think it's great. I'm looking forward to seeing some victories with this style of play. I think it will go really well with our approach to the commercial side, which is fresh and somewhat exciting. What I hate at the moment is the squad. There are still people in it that I wish would just leave. I don't know what it is but i look at our squad list and it's just, well, crap?

Did I read correctly that Agbonlahor hasn't scored in 26 premiership games? ....I don't understand why he is currently playing? I think it should be Benteke and Bent up front for sure.... If not, then 1 of those two up front alone with 5 in midfield... I love gabby, I really do, but he is not doing it for the team right now.

Fact indeed Mantis, it's very nearly November and we have won 1 game and have a very tough sequence of games coming up - fact is we are shite, and will get relegated.... Though I am hoping for a surprise. How can you look at us now and think everything is ok...until I see someone taking things seriously at the club I won't be spending any money.

I think we will go down unfortunately. I'm kind of settled on that fact now. Maybe I can be surprised at the end of season and we will stay up. Doubt it though, we are a complete shambles and cannot defend for beans. We run about a lot though which is good for the old fitness levels.

The guy is awesome, just hope we use him properly. There is no point having a guy like him up top without the people that can provide decent service. Belgium look great too. Here's to Villa possibly picking up some points soon.
