walesavfc Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 i seen this on another villa site and thought it was quite good, prob been posted here b4 but with 133 pages, i might have missed In a neat looking stand they call the holte end, An aston villa fan I was bound, And many's the happy hour I have spent in that famous old stand. The fans they sing with great passion, And caused me to stray from the scum, Far away from the city and albion, Who many times we have won. This should be his chant! Apparantly today our fans were singing this song but with the line 'he used to be shite', now i'm not his biggest fan but that song isn't going to help him is it? The line 'he played for the shite' is much better Could also use "He played for the scum, he'll score here for fun". Regardless of his scoring record. Mix the first suggestion with your changes and I think it reads better: So hoist up the Villa sail See how the Holte End sets... If it did ever catch on then you would then have potential for the first verse to added before aswell, followed by repeating this main bit over and over as per the video above.
