Yeap excellent player tonight. Keeping the ball under pressure is the key to any good player. You could see the other players worked out how good he is as they kept wanting to give him the ball straight back. Unbelievable really after I saw him at wigan so out of the game. Confidence and form are not magical spells cast by pixies that players have no control over, the're a state of mind and a state of condition that players who are dedicated to doing well at there sport focus on and get right. When I've watched him for Villa he looked out of condition and like he'd just come back into the game from a year out with a broken leg.

Ireland looks to me like he had a couple of big seasons, got rich and now doesn't want to put the work in to be a top class footballer. He will go from club to club over the next 3 or 4 years.

That's ridiculous. :| you can be unlucky with injuries and inherit players that don't want to play for you or the club which I think GH has and thats not his fault. Playing Gabby on the wing shows he doesn't know his players or squad at all. Fitting big names into the team to suit a formation is a sign he is not suited to managent at all. And when GH watches the game back later, if he thinks it is OK to play Gabby on the wing again then he is a fool and should go.
