I don't think he can...reading between the lines....the announcement on the OS earlier was clearly a public rap on the knuckles for Doug and a reassurance that any talks would from now on be conducted appropriately and overseen!!. Then there's a TV Interview with Mr Lerner clearly NOT ruling himself of being out of the running to buy Aston Villa...enter stage left MON.... and hey presto..no surprise the deal might just be back on!!! If has been previously rumoured Lerner was 15 minutes away from sealing the deal previously then I'd imagine tomorrows talks could be very short indeed.
