Also his wages whilst at Real Madrid have been $60,000 a week 1st 2 years & then it decreased to now being on €45,000 week. So we wouldn't be breaking our salary budget for him.

1) is that gross or net weekly because I know some European leagues detail salaries as net so you would need to gross it up

2) on a free transfer and to move to a lower level club he’d want to be at least one of our highest earners.  Free transfers can command much bigger salaries and huge signing on fees.  Therefore whatever the case he’ll be one our biggest total contracts.

Don’t know the tax system in Spain so just check another site

£52,285

So €45k maybe net although seems very low tax rate even when converted to GBP.

Whatever, it’s not a high wage considering he went from Arsenal to Madrid.  Strange!

Decent squad player which we'll need when we are playing in Europe.

For what he’d want salary wise he’d have to be more that a decent squad player, he’s needs to be a key player.
