packoman
Cowboy is now on the McGregor vs Siver card instead of Alvarez. Really can't wait for that event.
Tegis Posted January 6, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted January 6, 2015 The commissions and their fight-suspensions aren't always logic. Not that I'm complaining, the first Cerrone - Benson fight was fight of the year back then and coined the phrase "Bendo"
TreeVillan
In my eyes the Jones/Cormier fight was the number one contenders match to challenge for Gustafsson's belt.
Tegis Posted January 7, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted January 7, 2015 Uhm, so....yeah.... Jon Jones tests positive for cocaine, enters drug rehab following UFC 182 win over Daniel Cormier We finally found the one fighter who poses a legitimate threat to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Jon Jones. "Bones" tested positive for benzoylecgonine, a cocaine metabolite, in a random drug test administered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) back on Dec. 4, 2014. Since the NSAC follows the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) policies and benzoylecgonine is not on the out-of-competition banned substance list, a punishment could not be levied against Jones and he was permitted to compete. Jones passed a second test prior to his UFC 182 victory over Daniel Cormier last Saturday night (Jan. 3, 2015) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has since entered a drug rehabilitation facility.Clicky

TreeVillan
Was reading somewhere something along the lines of his test levels were also super low. Now a man in that physical shape having low testosterone is very suspicious. It's all hear say though so can't say for sure but found it interesting. packoman
Delighted that Joseph Duffy has signed with the UFC. No doubt most of the early attention he'll get will be from being the last man to beat McGregor and Norman Parke, but he really is a good fighter. His last fight
TreeVillan
Does it bug anyone else as much as it does me that Conor McGregor gets to fight in Dublin all the time and if not, it'll be in Boston the most Irish place outside of Ireland?
Nigel Posted January 8, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted January 8, 2015 Bug? No I love the atmosphere he generates. Id say the top brass agree.

Tegis Posted January 8, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted January 8, 2015 If Conor gets a titelfight at Croke Park, I'll be on the first flight over. That day would be nuts.
