HanoiVillan
I saw 22 movies that received a UK cinema release in 2017, and I have to say not one of them was terrible, although a few were over-rated and therefore disappointing (Get Out, Baby Driver) or just very average (Murder on the Orient Express, Battle of the Sexes, Atomic Blonde). I'd say it was a comfortably better year for movies than 2016. So my top 10, in countdown stylee, are: 10) Silence 9) Slack Bay 8) Okja 7) The Limehouse Golem 6) The Death of Stalin 5) Manchester-by-the-Sea 4) The Disaster Artist 3) Blade Runner 2049 2) Detroit 1) Toni Erdmann Another remarkable thing about 2017 is that there are so many films that I haven't seen, yet really want to and are on the list ASAP, including Graduation, Train to Busan, Raw, The Handmaiden, Colossal, The Meyerowitz Stories, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Florida Project and Good Time. I shall be busy!
Ingram85
Watch Train to Busan quick! It’s fantastic! Is that a 2017 film? Also watch Meyerowitz Stories.

Rodders
yeah, seeing the lists of top tens does highlight how many films that I presume are good I haven't been able to see. As per usual I will spend the following 2 years catching up with the highlights of the previous one :/
