BOF Posted May 3, 2016 Moderator Share Posted May 3, 2016 Some retro-Amiga gaming, anyone? I'll just leave this bad boy here The machine, which we call, the Armiga, is a beautiful piece of modern technology. It’s built around a modern Dual Core ARM CPU, that plays together with our custom made floppy controller. This is the key of the machine: We’ve developed our own controller, able of reading Amiga disks, decode them and make them available for executing. Sounds simple, right? The base Armiga aims to emulate the original Amiga 500 with 1MB of RAM as close as possible to the original one. And for you not to get your hands dirty, a fully legal copy of Kickstart 1.3 is provided with every Armiga!
Davkaus
That's a lot more expensive than I'd have thought.
Lichfield Dean Posted May 3, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted May 3, 2016 Nice idea. Would not like to play Speedball 2 on it without a zipstick though!
BOF Posted May 3, 2016 Author Moderator Share Posted May 3, 2016 If they started to manufacture the zipstick again, I think they'd make an absolute fortune. Hands down the greatest joystick ever produced. Whatever about Speedball 2, it's the original Kick Off 2 that really needs a zipstick
