Anything from High Voltage, Let There Be Rock, and Highway to Hell can't be beaten for stripped back rock loveliness. Personally i've got a soft spot for Powerage, it's perhaps not as immediate as the others but it's a real grower. Proper drinking music. I tend to find the Brian Johnson era albums vastly over produced, but owning Back In Black is obligatory. I'm probably not the best person to recommend Brian era stuff (any else?), but there are occasional gems, including Thunderstruck from the Razors Edge album.
