  1. Mines still working too
  2. Trainline App works very well. I tried a few weeks ago to check on times of train from Cradley to Brum and it was a pain trying to do it on the net. This app did it in about 40 seconds.
  3. Omariqy - make sure you have all yourplug-ins enabled for safari and also make sure your are in the UK. I think sometime later this month the laws change and they will be able to stream to anyone in the EU. Apparently they are working on an app for the app store and will be adding more channels.
  4. Somethings are so simple yet brilliant. Type this into safari and then save it as a bookmark on your desktop. http://iphone.tvcatchup.com Works brilliantly
  5. I used to have a windows phone and spent half the time putting new roms on. Tweaking etc and to be honest it got a bit boring. I guess there are benefits to jailbreaking but then most of the forums I visit which discuss it are full of posts saying how ca I get this back, this doesnt work now..help. How can I get this to work..................Is it really worth the hassle.
  6. Mine has come up with lost connection this afternoon and wont come back, yet if I can put it next to my wifes (bought at the same time from same O2 shop) and hers is showing full signal. Not a happy bunny
  7. Although it will be on Orange.... Especially as they made a comment about keeping the "branding" to a minimum. HTF do you Brand an Iphone?
  8. I have a film to recommend.........................that you dont waste a second watching. "Observe & Report". When was the last time Seth Rogen actually made something that was funny? This was beyond dire.
  9. Economic Left/Right: -1.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.54 Interesting
  10. omariqy out of those I have heard of Adventureland and thats it. I now feel in adequate........
  11. Watched District 9..................very quirky and a bit bizarre. Could be a quite brilliant take on racisim or just a very strange weird little film. Probably a 6 out of 10, (would have been 2 out of 10 if frigging Nicholas Cage had been the star)
  12. Anybody else tried the new push service on googlemail. I had it on for 24hrs, set the push sync at every hour but then drain on the battery was a killer - infact the phone was dead this afternoon and had to reset it to get it back to life.
  13. Anyone seen "The Taking of Pelham123" if so does it compare well to the original. Im going to watch either "District 9" or "The Hurt Locker" later.........
  14. Yep watched "Taken" not bad at all.
  15. I would like to recommend that no-one bothers to watch Bangkok Dangerous as it was quite possibly one of the worst films I have ever watched. Apart from Lord of War when was the last time Nicholas Cage actually made a half decent movie. Also had the misfortune to watch the first half of "The Boat that Rocked" which I turned off as it was not funny in the slightest.
  16. Anyone using Mobileme. Im tempted to try the 60 day free trial but I just know I will forget to cancel it and will get charged for it.
  17. Hard to defend MON when he sat and sat and sat at 2-0 upwhen everyone bar him could see we were getting overun in midfield and a goal was surely coming. Poor poor management
  18. Agree with pretty much all of AVFCLauras choices. + Aroundme - tells you what stores, banks & bars are around your current location. Urbanspoon - as above but places to fill your belly. TVGuide - Guess what that does. iFooty - News about your favorite club Papertoss - Its a silly game but can kill 5 mins or so. All free
  19. Krul probably kept them a point. Does Brunt ever pass when near the box because his shooting was awful today.
  20. Role Models is stupid but amusing at the same time, though not as good as The Hangover
  21. Navigon does the job without too much fuss and on the whole is accurate and easy to use. There is apparently an upgrade due sometime in July with a whole host of improvements. Apparently Tomtom is due for release sometime in August, but is very much a cut down version compared to the WM offering and with apparently regional maps and when I say regional I mean south-east England or Wales or Midlands so if you want to go from Birmingham to Cornwall you will need to buy another 2 regions worth of maps. Do you think that companies ever sit down and think what does our customer want rather than how can we get more out of our customer?
  22. Quick question to all iphone owners. How many have got the GPS problem since upgrading to 3.0 OS. Mine is fine but my wifes really struggles to get a fix in Maps or Navigon and she is a pissed to say the least.
  23. Anybody looking for a satnav solution may want to try this - Navigon - MobileNavigator British Isles - introductory price applies - £37.99, goes up to £59.99 after June 30th. It weighs in at a much easier to swallow (well download anyway) 215MB rather than the 1.6GB of the Europe-wide version. I had the WM on my previous phone and its not too shabby. No sign of a release date for Tomtom yet either
