well since Lerner hasnt even told the board what he is going to do about funds I am calling bollocks on this one

Somewhere inside is potential a good player, would our next manager get more out of him, we might be stuck with him.

That I would bet my house on Little and Bernstein making a much better fist of appointing a new manager than the last clearing in the woods.

Tom Fox is available, I am sure he can help out as he has a bloody fantastic record at managerial appointments and isnt afraid to look abroad.............

So you havent thought about who would like as manager, cannot offer up a viable alternative to the one who "according to one article in the press" is the favorite of the board who you is not your number one choice (is it even the boards?). What we do not know is who has applied for the job, how many of the candidates are anywhere near suitable and out of those how many will actually accept the job once the terms of the position are put to them. I am sure if Moyes or Jose wanted the challenge they would probably been offered it by now. I am sure that as people have already been attacking the board before they have appointed anyone, that there will be a lot of fans who are upset / angry with them when the announcement is made. I would suspect that there will have been a damn sight more thought and discussion put into our next appointment than went into "we have a lot of french players lets find a french manager" approach a la the Fantastic Mr Fox.

So you know who you dont want but apart from a manager who might have turned us down already you dont know who you do want. So the board are rubbish and dont know what they are doing.

So can you explain why you think the two managers you mentioned who as yet have not managed to get a team promoted to the Premiership have more potential than Pearson?

Although he signed the players was it MONs fault that a majority of the players we allowed to run their contracts down and leave the club for nothing, over £120 million spent on players who left for nothing.

Wonder where the story came from and who briefed the press? Or is it all conjecture. Is Moyes supposed to phone the press up everytime he is linked to a managerial vacancy to tell them he doesnt want the job?

I would hope that there will be an announcement next week after relegation is confirmed. This would also mean that it wont be McCarthy or Bruce getting the job.

Well surprise surprise I had the letter from Three today. Moving me to their new contract which was similar to my current one at an extra £7.00 a month and all for my benefit apparently. Phoned to cancel to see what was offered. Ended up with AYCE minutes and texts and 4GB of data for £14.00 instead of my £12.99 but it's a 12 month deal. The monthly deal was an extra £3 a month which was too much of a premium. I never use many minutes before but now it's unlimited I will bloody use it at every chance, Three are going to regret giving me unlimited minutes for 12 months......

I suspect Moyes will only take the job with significant backing so that rules him out. Pearson to Forest will be interesting for next season as if he is as good as some people think he could well put Forest where we want to be. If its between Bruce & McCarthy I would question how short term the board are looking especially as I keep hearing whispers that McCarthy is a done deal.

Replace those 3 and we wouldn't be facing relegation on Saturday.

I dont think that Martinez would be ruled out by nationality.
