To be fair there are a few on this site who have maintained a consistent opinion on Houllier throughout his appointment. There are others who have come round to a different opinion on him as circumstances have changed and this is actually their right to do without being branded one thing or another. It used to be negative and so therefore anti Villa, now I see the new phrase is kneejerkers when all it is is people changing their opinion based on events changing Do you think people are wrong to change their mind and stick to an opinion totally intransigently? Mate I think Ulvers sole purpose for coming on VT is to wind people up. He does it to virtually every post when he doesn't agree. Hello again General. I can see since the result last night you haven't... A - Had the time to reply ? B - Haven't read the thread yet ? C - Waiting for the dust to settle and then reply to us all at once ? I've done all my ranting and obviously the last 8 pages are full of rants towards Mr Houllier and you (Board). I think one thing is 100% obvious now Mr Krulak and I said this after the Arsenal game when I stated if we loose to the scum and Liverpool the fans will turn...... Well I'm sorry to inform you but I was right !! I've seen it so many times before as a Villa fan(atic) and once the fans turn against a manager more specific the HOLTE END on match days his days are numbered. His actions last night along with the pathetic performance have finished him amongst the most import part of our famous club ..US !! If we were to go on a 15 game unbeaten run now that would not matter one bit because as far as were concerned the damage has been done. I honestly felt cheated last night and no matter what Mr Houllier does now for the remainder of his Villa stint I will never forgive him or Sing his name ever again.... It is mixed mate but slightly more towards Villa. Alot of the main Villa lads in the 80's early 90's came out of Quinton along with Kingstanding & Erdington . Bartley Green was more sha hence the rows between Quinton and Bartley.

It sounds like you got caught up with the wrong lot but don't let this ever put you off or anyone else for that matter from attending games at the sty. It's been this way for generations. I was bought up in Quinton and used to listen for hours when I was a kid of storys of the Quinton Mob,Black Danny etc taking the blues pubs, the blues end etc etc as written in the Villians book. It will never stop because as one firm grows up and moves on another generation will take over and with society being the way it is these days it will get worse before it gets better. Most of the Villa firm these days are lads aged between 18-23 and as for the Lulus there a firm of the past living in there history of there 80's heydays. From what I've been told over the last few days the young Villa firms ran most of them all over Digbeth and I've been told this by some rather embarrassed sha fans who thought we were just a bunch of loud mouth scarves. UTV and never let that scum get you down. I used to run with the old Quinton, brought up on Welsh House Farm Road, drinking in the Monarch, and beating Brandhall up. Thanks for the bad memories I'm a Welsh house boy - I lived just off Wisley Way and attended Welsh House Farm school and then Four Dwellings. I know the Monarch,Stump,Golden Cup & Punch Bowl days. A sha work mate of mine was walking past the BP towards the Merc garage and was chased and got the shit kicked out of him and his 3 mates by 7 Villa lads. Harsh marking for Warnock and Downing imo. Warnock had a wobble at the start of the game but then played much better, he made a lot of last ditch tackles in the box to stop Arsenal from scoring.. did you forget them or just not watch the 2nd half? Downing was as good as Ash imo. Warnock was caught out of position after 25secs and was consistently caught all game - He is utter shit and I can't bring myself to heap any praise on him. I've been every game this season home & away and cup and he has been a liability in all them. Downing is a pussy full stop !! When were leading and not chasing the game he looks good - Like Man Utd last week. Today he was useless !! If you can tell me 1 thing he did today for me to raise my mark I'll donate £10 to VT ?? Ashley wanted the ball and tried to win it back when he lost it. He drifted inside to get the ball and tried to assist & help the attack - Albeit to no effect !! When he had the ball out wide put balls in hence the higher mark. I don't want to criticize Downing to much as he's been pretty good this season but when he's no up for it he's awful. When were loosing and looking for that bit extra ie tackle or some committed chasing back etc he hides on the wing. Warnock was caught at the start of the game but after that he was pretty good. He went flying into Arsenal's attackers in the 2nd half and stopped them from shooting on numerous occasions. Downing's positioning is excellent and cut out quite a few Arsenal passes. Downing also made a decent run when we broke on the counter. He was in space, running into the box, but your beloved Ashley Young **** up the easy part and passed the ball as fast as he signs contracts. Lets just agree to disagree - footballs about opinions and ours differ on certain players performances. As for Ashley he was as poor as the rest of them but IMO gave a little more. Also as I'm at the back of the Holte was Ash wearing one of them stupid neck warmer things ?? If so you can take a mark of him as that's a disgrace for an English man to be wearing one of them !!

I'll place a large bet with anyone that if sha knock us out the cup we loose at Anfield and get nothing other than a win against the Baggies the Holte End will be firmly on Houlliers back and the pressure will be on Randy to sort it quickly !!
