  1. I'd still go with **** them and walk out as soon as the final whistle goes. I agree that Downing,Bent,Gabby (he's one of our own) and the youth are the exceptions but it's not possible to direct an applause to these individuals. So for me the best thing to do is just do one at the final whistle and leave them in the changing rooms having to explain to there children why they wont be going out onto the pitch with daddy to do the lap of honour because only the cleaners are out there !!
  2. It's not just the on pitch performances tho - It's all the shite that's gone off it aswel. Player revolt, Fighting amongst each other, Steven Ireland debarcle, Bad mouthing the club, The defeat at Newcastle, Warnock incident, Small heath knocking us out the cup then going on to win it, Houllier at Liverpool, The wasted cup game at citeh... Wolves home defeat, I could go on and on as there's a list as long as my arm..
  3. I think we all should just go home at FT. When they come out 15 mins after the final whistle all they'll see is the press putting away there equipment and the ground staff clearing up !! That should give them the message of how much they've let us down this season. I've been a season ticket for the last 10 years and prior to that attended all but 5 home games per season due to working compulsory Saturdays. I've only missed about 10 away games in the last 7 years also. This will be the 1st time during all that period I'm turning my back on them at the final whistle. I'll going for a pint to drown my sorrows and to reflect on what has been the worst and most embarrassing season I've experienced in my time as a fanatical and loyal Holtender.
  4. Hi General. Will a decision be made out the management teams future before the ST deadline on June 15? I ask this General as I know at least 8 people who wont renew for next season If Houllier and GaryMc are still employed by AVFC and I'm sure there are 1000's more like them. I'm a sucker for punishment and will have a season ticket regardless of who's in charge as I just love the Villa as I have done since 1989 aged 11 when I first stood in the Holte End. However General there are many who don't think like me as our fans are very fickle and very passionate about the wrong doings at the club this season. With this in mind I can honestly see our attendances dropping to the late 20000's next season which will just make more of a mockery of the club and be very very embarrassing aswel as financial disaster for Randy. All the best Gen and keep up the good work.
  5. Roll on the end of the season. I really need a break from the villa after the shite I've had to witness this season both home and away. Going to Arsenal next week and after Liverpool I'm washing my hands of the Villa for a month or so - unless we appoint Moyes.......................... I can dream...
  6. Hi General, When are the season ticket renewals being sent out ? Is it soon, as I need to take up the direct debit option this year as I've 2 holidays booked over the summer so moneys tight. I wanted to have It payed off by July but I've heard absolutely nothing from the club and worried it's going spill into August when I'm going to need every penny.
  7. Hi General. In the week of royal hysteria and the whole world focusing on our royal family and falling in love with them all over again, can I ask why the club hasn't approached Prince William to be a club ambassador or something of that elk ? He is obviously in the wake of this weeks events one of the if not the most popular figure heads on the planet. He is a self confessed Villa fan and I think if we can associate him in anyway with the club it can only help to raise the profile of the club worldwide as the interest in him now he has his princess will be bigger than ever. I'm not a royalist as such but I'm very patriotic and yesterdays events made me feel very proud to be British. The image of him sitting in our directors box wearing a Villa scarf would be seen by billions around the world and would almost certainly raise our profile to huge proportions. Any thoughts ?? P.S General - We know Mr Houlliers heart can't take the stresses of the Premier league so please move him upstairs for next season and get on the blower to Davey Moyes.. You know you wana.. :winkold:
  8. Hi General. Do we have an exact figure of what the capacity of Villa park will be once the North stand renovation work is completed? If not what is it estimated figure likely to be? Cheers and UTV.
  9. Completely average - Some decent balls 1st half and that's about it. As for being captain.. well that's a joke IMO. Other than lead the team out and calls heads or tails he does nowt to gee up the lads or lead by example.
  10. I've just got back from the game and thought Makoun was crap TBH. He doesn't do nothing other than short 10 yard passes and nice 1 touch lay offs, I'd play Delph any day over him at the moment, I'm sure he'll come good next season. Downing was the best player for us and the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Bent does was Bent does when he gets the ball in the box SCORE that's why you gotta pay the dosh for him - Class. I was pleased Gabby got a start up front and he didn't let anyone down IMO, a good honest shift and loved the "Shut ya mouth sign" he gave the toffee fans. L.Young was as depenable as ever - If only the rest of the back 4 could take a leaf out of his book we'll have conceded half the goals we have.

The Arkles for both scouse teams is tradition.
  12. I was there mate there mate and still waiting for a refund as the reserves are usually free to watch. There were around 2000 of us who Gerrad Houllier ripped off that night.
  13. This would be a dream come true. We should have gone balls out and got him 1st time around though. I certain we wouldn't be in the shit we are in now if we had.
  14. **** Raffa !! We should just go out and get who we should have got in the 1st place..... David Moyes.
  15. Hi General - As we all know you've been missing recently so can I ask... Has Mr Houllier banned you from speaking to us again or Is this one of the terms in the new rule book he's re-written ? Anyway I hope your well and I hope to see you back here soon. P.S can you settle a bet for me.. A friend of mine swore he seen walking through Chelmsley Wood the other day holding a Big Johns fish 'n' chips box ? I said It can't be and bet him £50. I could do winning General so I can re-coupe some of the money I wasted on going to the FA cup tie against Man City earlier this month. All the best and UTV.
  16. If you can lay your hands on a rifle I'm sure Fran will do the rest! I'm sure Fran wouldn't before those on their periods get on their high horses. Fran will have to wait in line.. I'm sure there at least 15000 Holtenders up first..
  17. I've swung all over the place with him. I don't know weather I'm coming or going that's how much he's screwed my head this year. At first I was pleased then after the plop game wanted him gone. Then when he signed Bent etc I was happy to give him another go. Then there was the Citeh fiasco I wanted out again and now after the last couple of weeks and Wolves I want him shot !!
  18. Hi General, I drive for a living and started work this morning from home at 6.30am. I'm an avid listener to a certain radio station that like to TALK about SPORT. From the moment I switched the radio on at 6.30 the breakfast show was virtually turned into the Aston Villa in crisis show. That show ended at 10.00am and the mid morning breakfast show started which is co-presented by one of Villa all time great players and an absolute Villa legend Sir Andy Gray. That show lasted 3 hrs and 70% of that show was all centred around the "Aston Villa crisis". At 1pm when that show ended I had some business to attend so stop listening. I got back in my car at 4pm for the drive back to B'ham from London and once again switched on the radio station that likes to TALK about SPORT. That show was called drive time and lasted 3hrs (my whole journey back) and once again virtually the whole show was the "Aston Villa in crisis" show. This radio station has dedicated virtually it's entire day broadcasting about our club. It's had fans on the entire day representing our entire fan base so not just us natives in Brum. They were from Dublin,London and the South West and every single call I heard was "WE WANT HOULLIER OUT". They've also had some very high profile former Villa players interviewed and again all (but in nicer more professional terms) say the same thing - HOULLIER OUT. General you need to take notice of all this. A national radio station has dedicated it's entire day to the Houllier crisis. Fans from all 4 corners of the country have rang in all day to voice the anger. They ran a poll and it was overwhelming in favour of Houllier out. One final thing General... One of the presenters on the drive time programme had this to say.. (not word for word).. "This is massive, this could be the biggest high profile casualty since the formation of the premier league. Aston Villa are one of the BIG BOYS. Your talking about one of the biggest clubs not only in England but Europe with a massive fan base, massive history, and massive traditions. They're former European Champions who belong in the top 4 not the bottom 4 to see them relegated would rip the heart and soul at of this magnificent institution of English football" I nearly cried when I heard this General and I urge Randy and the board to act before it's too late.
  19. General, As posted above it's nothing to do with loosing a derby.. In fact I don't class Wolves as a derby and couldn't give a **** about them unlike the scum down the rd whom I loath like most others. It's killing me getting the sh1te ripped out of me week in week out by them knuckle draggers and honestly have my phone switched off at weekends now as we are a laughing stock !! I completely agree with shambles - John Gregory is our man. As you've posted many times.. YOU BLEED CLARET & BLUE !! Well I can assure you John Gregory does too - He Is Villa through & through. He's the answer as a short term replacement and to save us from relegation he'll get our squad of over paid tossers motivated and ready for the fight ahead. General I have faith in you and Randy to do what is right to save our club.
  20. General, I know it's not your bag to answer questions with regards to what goes on on the pitch. But today my friend bought his 7 year old son to the game and TBH he's knows very little about football like most 7 year olds I suppose. When we were loosing with 30mins to go his son turned around and said "Daddy why is Bent alone up the front when Villa are loosing" he was then informed that the manager will probably bring Gabby on shortly and revert to a 2 man attack ( he did make it sound alot simpler for him to understand) When that change was made General my friends son then ask the question... "Daddy I thought Gabby was a striker and scored goals, why is he playing on the wing then?" My friend then informed his son that our manager was completely clueless and doesn't know what he's doing. My question to you General is this... How can a 7 year old at only his 3rd football match know we need to play strikers when were loosing, yet our vastly experienced manager doesn't ?? I really think General Mr Houllier has lost the plot and will take my beloved club down either this season or next. I honestly beg you to reconsider making Mr Houllier part of the long term AVFC plan because If we were to go down I fear we will end up like the once great Leeds United.
  21. I want to say something bad, something negative or rant about Houllier but... WORDS SIMPLY CAN'T DESCRIBE WHAT I WITNESSED TODAY !!
  22. Went up there today full of hope and came back with yet another ruined weekend !! Just a brief run down on certain players I feel need to be single out.. Friedal - He's had a great couple of seasons for us but If I had any doubts that he was finished today put paid to them - USELESS. Walker - What a star this kid Is going to be my joint MOTM. L.Young - I thought he was great considering his 1st game back and out of position. Downing - Full of energy and played well - Missed a complete sitter tho. A.Young - Did **** all apart from winning about 30 free kicks. His set plays were shocking like the pen miss. Albrighton - I reckon Robinsons heads still spinning he completely destroyed him joint MOTM. Bent - He should have had at least a hatrick maybe 4 If he had the balls to tell Ash he's a penalty taker.
  23. Hi General. I don't want to keep going on about the issues of Wednesday night but I'm still really frustrated at being over £100 out of pocket. I completely appreciate your predicament with regards the media picking up on your every word and it's virtually impossible for you to give an honest answer without them twisting everything. I'm sure you read my post a couple of pages back and have passed my concerns to the powers that be. What I want to know Is how will you be able to communicate with me regarding this issue as I feel very betrayed by Mr Houlliers selection policy for that game and would defiantly not have travelled to watch the reserves at such great expense especially as I'm going to Bolton tomorrow and will be spending close to another £100 all in. Would It be possible for you to give me a number of a complaints dept at AVFC (we must have one) and the name of someone I can speak to directly so I can moan at them rather than bother you as I appreciate your a busy man. All the best Sir and UTV.
  24. Hi General. I hope the mods don't delete this post (as you've had endless gripes on last nights game) but I feel it's most valid point. I've been a consistent season ticket holder for the last 9 years and on and off for the 7 years prior attending almost every game anyway. I'm also a cup scheme and an away scheme member for the past 6 years, again attending all but 2 to 3 away games a season (usually midweek games due to work commitments). As you can see I spend £000's on the club every year and will continue to do so (unlike some) for the rest of my life because as they say "Villa till I Die" I earn £22000 a year so not a huge amount and must spend £3000 a year on the Villa inc tickets, travel etc etc. I'm in no financial position to waste money but as my Wife will confirm.. I put the Villa before most things in my life. However last night's team selection has cost me over £120 and want to know If the club or Mr Houllier himself will reimburse me In any way ? Last night cost me.. £22.50 - Match ticket. £60 - Half a days wages as I had to take it unpaid. £25 - Petrol money. £5 - Parking. £15 - Food & drink. Also the £50 I bet on Villa as I really fancied us to win. The game was hyped up by Mr Houllier and how we were going there to win and the 4-0 defeat hurt and wont happen again (all on AVFC website) I thought money on Villa tonight after the Blackburn win......... What a mug I am not waiting for the team sheet - But who would have thought he'd field the reserves ?? If I'd have known Mr Houllier was going to field our reserve team I wouldn't have gone to the game as I can watch them for free every week !! I honestly feel (& I think most fans will agree) we should be reimbursed in some way ? I was one of the sorry bunch who also attended Eastlands for the Dec humiliation but had really high hopes this time around as the team have improved greatly since them and In superb form. I look forward to hearing from you Sir.
