I've put £100 @ 12/1 with paddy power for Moyes. Can't resist that price - I'm sure the General is reading this forum daily and the obvious support for Moyes (Not by everyone before I get shot down but the majority as in the polls) Is being relayed to Randy. He surely must be on the hit list and Everton must be approached just so we can rule him out If anything before we start the interview process.

If the board were to appoint Raffa it would be a disaster. As DOL said "Were Fickle" he was so right.. We all are. Raffa will never be given a chance because as soon as he were to sign a dodgy player who under performs or we go on a bad run all the negative fans who don't want him will be straight on his back like we were with Houllier. Benitez loves the NW of England his kids are settled in school up there and have scouse accents. I think Rafa will be far more at home as the manager of Everton. The board should really start to flex there muscles and put a firm offer to Kenright for Moyes. I want to actually here David Moyes say... "I don't want to be the next Aston Villa manager" Only then will I start to think about someone else as a potential manager of AVFC.

Listen don't let Talk shite get to us as apart from Andy Gray and Collymore there all Villa haters . I listen every day from 6am till 6pm as I drive for a living and the ginger prick on drive time is always slagging us off. I want Moyes but he's got not ambition and will just rot at Everton. I then swayed to Anceloti and Wilkins but he's ruled himself out. Now for me the only realistic man for the Job is Mark Hughes. I like him as a man and loved him as a player.. as a manager I'm unsure but he seems to have done well wherever he's been and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't stand for any of the shit the players through at Houllier this season. He's young got ambition and more passion than any other manager in the league. I put £100 on Houllier @ 6/1 last year. £50's gone straight on Ancelotti @ 20/1 - Although I reckon it will be Hughes and my preferred choice is Moyes with Ancelotti 2nd.

Hi General, I know you say for us to not believe in what we read in the media, but today I just hope there right in what there saying about our managerial situation. On that note I want to thank your good self and Mr Lerner for doing the right thing. Up the Moyes... I mean Villa.

General, I've been a season ticket holder and a very loyal villian since the 90's when I was able to afford one after starting work. I attend all but 2/3 away per season every season. I attend pre-season games home/away and have travelled into Europe to watch us play. I've just renewed my season ticket again even though I don't want Houllier as our manager - I'll always support this club no matter what !! However today I've decided ( and I hope it is just paper talk ) If Bent leaves the club after less than half a season I'll be returning my season ticket and WILL NOT return to Villa park until Randy has sold up and your all gone !! Again I hope this is just the papers talking rubbish and I apologise for my rant if it is as I shouldn't be getting carried away, but this is how I feel at the moment as we (the fans) haven't got a fcking clue what's going on and were fast becoming a big of a joke as the tramps in Small heath.

I'm not having that mate. He's got everything we need. He respects and is loyal to his board - Kenwright adores him. He demands 110% every game from his players and usually gets it. He respects his players and staff and they 100% respect him. He always gives his youth a chance.. Osman,Victor Anichebe,Rodwell to name a few. He turns average playrers into top players.. Cahill,Baines,Arteta,Howard he turned Lescott from a championship player to a 25m England int. He can also spot a bargain, who had heard of Coleman, Pienaar or Fellani ?? The whole game respects him and players want to play for him - He would be a major major coup for us and send a message to the rest we arn't fcking about this time !! This is the man we need to return our famous old club BACK into a top 5 side challenging on all fronts. It's just my opinion but I know I'm right..

Hi General, I know this isn't your dept but I'm sure you can shed some light... I've been a season ticket holder for years now and a member of the away scheme for about 6 years, so I never use the ticket facility on the website as all my tickets are pre-booked. I renewed my season ticket online last week and out of interest went into my account just to see where I'd been etc. I noticed and unaware to me that I've been collecting loyalty points over the last few years and have now got a total of 3000+. What do these points do General ? Are they redeemable against items in the club shop etc and how do you redeem them ? Thanks in advance.

Only a paltry 365 votes out of a fan base of about 100,000 worldwide ? I say every man and his dog would want him appointed Monday morning.

If Moyes was appointed Villa manager in the next month I can guarantee this..... 1. 99.9% of villa fans will be ecstatic and full of optimism like when Randy & MON 1st arrived. 2. There will be 100's if not 1000's of us at Villa park when he's announced. 3. Season ticket sales will go up in there 1000's and probably sell out. 4. VP will be buzzing every week with attendances topping 40000+ per game depending opposition. 5. Big name players will want to come and play for us and players like Milner/Young wouldn't be leaving - Look how loyal his Everton players are to him. 6. With Randys backing we'll be challenging with Spurs & Liverpool for 4th every season. 7. The board will never here another moan from fans about the playing side of the club and how things should be done - The General will be able to sleep easy. I just want this to happen so fcking bad !!

Best performance on the season by a mile - We actually looked like we a defence today and Bent as the lone striker is when he's at his best and fcking deadly he's gonna become an icon at the villa. I also thought NRC was immense and surprised only got 5% of the vote so far. Also Delph with his 1st start in how long was superb.. what a player this kids gonna be for us. Special mention to Ash and Nige for coming over after the final whistle and throw there shirts into the crowd and to the away support - best away day I've had in years absolute top quality the gooners were blown away by us !! UTV and roll on next seasons away days.
