  1. So PL criticised DB earlier this week for DB not taking responsibility for his failings over the last couple of years. Now that seems like an excellent description of the Pot calling the Kettle black...
  2. I know Sexbelowsound,it was a huge surprise to me,when I saw it highlighted a day or so ago, that we had only scored a pathetic 11 League goals all Season, considering the mesmeric and entertaining football we have enjoyed this Season... ;-)
  3. "We can do a lot worse than have PL in charge" Oh dear me,11 League goals all Season, embarrassing record after embarrassing record being broke by the idiot in charge, and some are gushing over an article. My oh my,some people are VERY easily pleased...
  4. For those who are saying Mat Kendrick's excellent article(which I completely agree with by the way) was personal in any way, remind me again who is the person responsible for MK's new position at the Birmingham Mail?? A certain out of depth, negative, awful example of a Premier League manager would be a good hint.
  5. Some proper questioning eventually by a journalist,it was Pete Colley putting PL under pressure here... http://tinyurl.com/Lambert-tough-questioning
  6. Right, after this lucky(in my opinion) draw today, that is 30 points from the last 105... Absolutely disgraceful and pathetic.30 points from 35 games, this as much as many other reasons, show that PL very much deserves the sack! LambertOut!
  7. Despite my best intentions to stay on topic,i feel entitled to reply to George. If you look back, you initially mentioned we weren't for sale a page or so back,so you were the person to take this off topic not me,so even more lies from you. So,once again,i will say,we are very much still for sale.Anyhow,I have no intention of replying to anymore nonsense and lies that you most likely will respond with.I want Lambert out so badly,he is utterly out of his depth here. The performances/results in his time here have been despairing, the majority of his signings have been poor,he continues to play the same formation and time after time after time the performances have been poor to shambolic,so I very much look forward to this fraud eventually getting the sack.
  8. Hi George,i'll say it again,[edited by mods]We are very much still for sale.Anyhow, this is off topic in this thread.I passionately believe that Paul Lambert should have been sacked back in May,that he wasn't,showed we had a gutless, disinterested Owner. That he was then given a new 4 year Contract in September was as bad a decision in my eyes as hiring AM back in 2011.Randy and Paul are dropping us to new depths of despair as each week passes.I anxiously await both leaving our great Club, whenever that may be...
  9. Either your source if feeding you porkies George or you are lying, either way,i have very good reason to believe that we are very much still for sale thankfully.Unfortunately due to the diabolical nature of how Randy has run us over the years and thus the price he wants now also,we are not a very attractive proposition for a potential buyer.
  10. Yet Everton were 17th when we played them this Season and in awful form(hadn't won at home in the League when we played them) and Spurs who were 14th in the League before playing us today and equally in horrendous form. The Lambert excuses will ALWAYS seem to come by some... #Lambertout I think it's pretty fair to say that Everton and Spurs have better teams than Aston Villa. They're always going to turn their seasons around from being 17th and 14th. Today, aside from a nervy start, Spurs didn't even look like scoring until Benteke's moment of madness. I'm not sure their quality shone through, we just absolutely gifted them a way back in to the game. A red card and a horrible deflection on a free kick leaves us with nothing from a game we looked like winning. Not really sure how this is "Lambert's fault" in this instance? Well we have certainly contributed to one or both of these teams finding some form.I don't blame Lambert directly for losing today, but I definitely blame him indirectly. There is a losing mentality at the Club,Lambert has huge responsibility for this for many reasons. When a team such as us find ourselves in the unlikely position of leading in a game when we have lost so many in a row(regardless of the opposition) our confidence is going to be non-existent,so it's no surprise we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and this comes back to the losing mentality that Lambert is responsible for. Also 29 points from the last 102 available is self explanatory. #Lambertout

  12. We have been set up very similarly to yesterday many times in the past,it didn't work in the past and it didn't work again last night.I'm genuinely not trying to be condescending here, but it's admirable of you and others trying to defend PL,he has had it tough here, but he is simply out of his depth managing us.His cowardly tactics of consistently sitting back against most opponents are not deserving of our great club and he is simply embarrassing us fans with some absolutely despairing performances that have happened under his tenure.
  13. Hi Ozvillafan,i totally agree. Both need to go.Both are woefully out of their depths in each of their respective positions. It infuriated and despaired me when PL was given that new contract recently.Ultimately though,as much as I dislike everything about how PL set us up,performances/results etc. the blame lies more with RL,we have become irrelevant under him. It's painful witnessing our demise under him.I look forward so much to when he goes and i'm desperate for that to happen as soon as possible, even though that doesn't look very likely at present sadly.
  14. So according to Howard Hodgson on Twitter,PL and the Club have a 1 year compensation Clause either way in PL's new contract.I sincerely hope this c̶l̶u̶e̶l̶e̶s̶s̶ i̶d̶i̶o̶t̶ guy goes as soon as possible.I accept and acknowledge he has it difficult working under the financial restrictions set by RL,but we have been unfortunately witnessing for much too long, cowardly, negative and dour performances and results.PL's time is up,he simply has to go.
  15. Odd isn't it, given people were banging on for ages how we were sold... its almost like they were making it up and there wasn't a buyer in place at the time of Randy's statement. I fully expect Lerner to still be around come the start of the season. Hi TrentVilla, the last sentence in your post above,is it based on an isolated and educated opinion or is it an informed opinion based on info you may have received from someone??
  16. Somebody like Bruce Langham, Michael Cunnah or Richard FitzGerald would be absolutely ideal. Wasn't Langham part of the group who tried to buy the club pre Lerner? What are the experiences of the others as I haven't heard of them? If I am not mistaken, all 3 have been at the Club since RL took over...
  17. Clark,Delph,Vlaar to name but 3 players that have been written off on here.Too early to write JB off just yet.Yes he was a weak link for us last Season, but our whole defence was poor also last Season as we are all aware.JB needs time and hopefully,if/when he gets an opportunity(once he is fit) then he will make similar improvements that the aforementioned 3 players have shown...
  18. If that was true, which is a ridiculous suggestion by the way, then I would expect CB to be playing to his full potential.Anyhow, that is off topic, seems this player is highly rated,so if there is any truth to this,i hope we buy him and I also hope we can get the number 10 we desperately need as well...
  19. Hi,just like to say loving the layout change of this site, read this site daily, don't post often though, well done to all involved for this layout change VFA VTID
  20. Hi all, just noticed the following from the Official site and wondering is it relevent to the fate of the clown we have currently in charge, hope so much it's linked to the future of Mcleish not being our manager. http://tinyurl.com/ceaa7qn I apologise as i am not good with short urls.VTID UTV VFA!
  21. No Mate,Benitez was sacked before Christmas,Roy Hodgson was sacked early January.Back on Topic,i would like one of Moyes,Hughes or Coyle as manager!
  22. Hi,just wondering why Rafa wasn't even considered at Liverpool when Roy was sacked?? There is a reason and i know it but you won't admit it for some unkown reason! The reason was Kenny Dalglish. Kenny Dalglish was out of Management for over ten years at that stage, but the way your talking up Rafa he should have been given the job that he F**ked up so beautifully only 6 months previously! Surely going by your reasoning with a new board Rafa would have flourished?? Rafa is an utter Buffoon and a clown of the highest order and i'm confident that he will not be the manager of my great club! You don't know what you're talking about. That much is clear. It's like me coming on here and telling you how great O'Neill was, how he made you a top-6 side and how Lerner must be a complete **** idiot for not backing him. Please explain to me in some detail at least why this phenomenon that is Rafa Benitez, how or why he wasn't considered or re-employed as manager when Roy was sacked?? You say he was hamstrung and had his hands tied behind his back with your previous owners,so with new owners if Rafa is some sort of managerial genius, how come he wasn't re-hired by Liverpool?? If he is as good as you say he is, you would have re-hired him straight away!
