  1. Lets be honest here, good player he is, the guys legs have gone. Cant last a ninety anymore. Thats not bashing him, just saying how it is.
  2. I love his honesty, and he seems a guy i can believe in. I just think hes being dealt a crap hand by the owner of the Club, more so considering his background. Acid test will be at Fulham, which is proberly the biggest game he will have at Villa. Win it, and i think he will win over a lot of waverers, and people will be behind him against Blackburn. Loose it, and the pressure is on against Blackburn. But picking on the manager for the decisions of the board has always been the way at Villa, and i dare say that tradition will carry itself on.
  3. Clark, Albrighton, Baker, Gardner, Bannon. These are the ones that will succeed. For me, the jury is still out on some of the rest, with others just not good enough. Rumour is, the next crop coming through are a lot better.
  4. To be fair, i think they realise this. Thats why i have the belief that they are looking at ways of bringing in the extra capitol needed, either by selling up completely, or by selling some of his share.
  5. Nice comment! I couldnt give a shit what he thinks, but it will break my heart to see the scousers win anything, and Gerard being out increases those chances! Very true. If there is such a thing as a one man team, then Liverpool are it.
  6. Thier club is in massive danger of going to the wall, yet they still spare a rather obscessed view of us. Priceless Worried about the peado wandering around amongst them
  7. have you already started? Flipping keys on the lap top
  8. One think that Mcleish will not stand, is people not putting in a shift, either in a match, or on the training ground. So im with you on this 8)
  9. Brilliant idea! Im not this guys biggest fan, but do you really think we can do that without making a loss? Who do we replace with? Would Randy finance a replacement? I figure we are stuck with him, and to be honest, Messi would have done **** all today, because nobody was playing any balls into him. I witnessed somebody trying today, i did not witness it last season. If he does not recieve the ball, what can he do? Besides, him and Bent were the only two whom got a shot on goal.
  10. I know Fergie has been. Mourinho??? Total bollocks.
  11. As always, an obvious question that seems to be left to me We are we all getting pissed?
  12. The thing is, he was tasked to get near to Gabby, so that he could thread him through. Its not his fault that he recieved not one worthwhile ball from either Delph or Petrov, as they were completely over run. I think he would of maybe got more of the ball ahd Makoun been in there with him. Its also obvious that Eck is shuffling the midfielders around seeing what his best combo is, and the amount of times hes doing it, says hes not happy with what hes got.
  13. Yes and i'm the best striker in the world.. No your not.......i am, and whats more, i have been for the last 35 years, as my kids will testify 8)
  14. I think Deph needs to play further forward. Might of been a better choice wide, than Fonzy. But you dont know these things unless you try them against top notch opposition. Eck would have learnt more today about individuals than in any of the other two games.
  15. You could say that with most of them! Never seen people sweat as much. Dunny looked like he had just got out of swimming pool, and that was only after three minutes.... That man needs to cut back on the Guiness me thinks.
  16. Heres me thinking we were a Football club that wants to compete at the highest level it possibly can. Well give the manager the money to do something!!! Reading the last few pages of this tread, i though i was logged into some dodgy accountant forum by mistake! Splash the cash you tight bar steward
  17. Start him against Derby? Nout to lose, and everything to gain in my opinion...
  18. Agree with all of that. Ireland looks like hes discovered his hunger for the game again. OK, he was not brill today, but you can see some big performances coming this season, if we keep him fit, and Randy backs his manager. Our midfield is as weak as piss, and it wont wait until Janauary to be fixed. The problem is there, so go out and remedy it!!!!
  19. Sorry Mods, but i could not find the thread, so merge if it still exists 8) For me, the shining light in a pretty dire team performance. Showed some real neat touches, and you know what? I think weve got a gem 8)
  20. If i knew the Medical was at the QE beforehand, and i would of gone along, put a bag over his head, and kept him in the shed until Monday, since i live next door to the place..... They should of told me, the useless tossers
  21. If the deal was not done, would he be in Hong Kong? Think about it :winkold:
