I think with the way weve set ourselves up, Petrov is beginning to get a little more respite, so is lasting a little longer. Be interesting to see what happens on Saturday against wolves, because they will rough him up a bit, and with Jarvis ect, will try and stretch us out. Its only Wolves, but they will be ours, and Petrovs first real test this season.

I was expecting us to struggle breaking the 25,000 mark. Last two weeks of the school holidays, when most people take the kids away, the economic plight a lot of us find ourselves in, the loss of faith in the people running the club, losing our two best players, alongside a multitude of lesser distractions. I think we did well getting that many in. Hopefully, it bodes well.

People have to accept that he is not going to pull up many roses outside the penalty area. He only comes alive in and around the box, and has a gift of ghosting into positions to score, Defenders have to concentrate on his movement throughout the game, otherwise, with the right supply, hes in on goal. We need to strengthen the middle a little bit more, which would enable us to go 4-4-2 in games. Him and Gabby up front is promising, and you could even push Zoggy up beside him if needed. Is why i have a sneaky feeling we aint finished in the market. Well its what im holding hope on to :?

I think we can do better, but i think the manager is just making sure we dont lose the game, before trying to win it. Not knocking him, because thats not a bad foundation to build from, but i think we have the players to take a little more risk against the likes of Blackburn. Early doors though 8)

Not being funny here, but i cant sit through that shit every week. 4 points from 2 games though, so i might get used to it. Just think when we meet the better teams, they will tear us a new arsehole. Delph MoM for me.

I was going to include him. However, Gabby playing left and either cutting in or going past the fullback with his pace, should pull the best defense apart, but we keep trying to play him as an out and out winger, when hes not. Instead of giving him the ball and hoping he does an Ashley or Downing, we should be delivering it to him where he can play to his stength. Im not blaming the manager here, because its the players. I just think its in the players thought mode. "He plays left, so hes a winger" Getting gabby running past and directly at defenders will create the space Benty needs. Maybe it just needs fine tuning, but i think it could work pretty well.
