I'm struggling to back-up our claim of best away fans in the league when we're currently taking hardly anyone to our penultimate game just down the road from OT and the last day of the season looks like it's going down to booking history! Enroute to the capital aboard a Randy Lerner bus, general consensus seems like we've already lost this one. Was surprised to learn our last away win was Sunderland, New Year's day, so no wonder we've struggled to move out of bottom half - our away form usually counteracts terrible home results ala Stoke/Fulham, so here's to 3 points and normal service being resumed today.. This could be Rotterdam or anywhere, Liverpool or Rome, Cos Villa can win anywhere when we're away from home!

Just booked these, they were really stringent counting up my away games twice (jobsworth), said we'd got about 500 left in the upper and then all of the lower (not allowed to choose which is nice seeing as they're cheaper and I've never been lower, or seen a win there for that matter!) Regardless of where we are and if it's important or not, it's the last day of the season... I'd know what I'd rather do - Tottenham away, lav it!

I can confirm it's the exact opposite @OT, and from my point of view it is for the Villa in a way as well - we always do better against the bigger teams!

Listening to Spotify radio and this came to me from Rotterdam - The Beautiful South, just in time for our visit to OT... This could be Rotterdam in '82, Liverpool or Rome, Cos Villa can win anywhere, when we're away from home! Nice little nod to our finest hour which we don't celebrate enough in my opinion, and it's factual given our shocking home vs. away performances!

PL gave clubs money to spend on making away days "more accessible" to fans, was up to the individual clubs how they spent that money - some have reduced ticket prices for all whereas Villa decided to provide 10 free coaches to certain games.

Oyster Bar in town has always been a decent jaunt before United away, mainly because it's a Citeh pub but never had any trouble in there with a Brummy accent and colours regardless. 2 pints of Taddy lager please barkeep

Spend more time at OT than VP at the moment unfortunately (I work there) and let me tell you the pessimism on here is nothing compared to our office currently, or at least it shoudn't be! Was chatting to the journo's today and they're really not looking forward to our visit, pace is their obvious achilles heel and so it should create the perfect storm for a nice Villa win! To be fair, this game just gets in the way for United, nobody will be up for it with City having just been, big CL game 3 days later and the vast majority would much rather stay 7th than qualify for the Europa. I'm confident, but then again I was one of the lucky ones in December '09 to see Gabby get us our first win in something stupid like 26 years @OT, same again please Villa boys...

Hope we don't have to pretend we score a goal again, but we've had some decent trips to Anfield in recent years so let's be optimistic...2-2!
