  1. bit plain for my liking. somone did a mock up of a navy away kit with a white sash - REALLY want that one to materialise.
  2. currently a student in nottingham and will probably go to their home leg. hoping they can do thew business. they've got enough good players i think and their home record is excellent.
  3. don't agree. it will be infinitely harder for City to attract world class players if they can't offer Champions League football. I also feel that once they do achieve 4th they won't relinquish their place until the money runs out. Spurs on the other hand are far more likely to have a stinker of a season next year allowing us, city and whoever else to challenge again.
  4. cuellar - superb carew - dangerous (should defo be kept around) warnock, gabby, petrov - poor downing - timid mr. clattenburg - need more performances like that from refs our fans - fantastic result - absolutely devastating. hard to take.
  5. this feels awful. daft from warnock to give away the penno and never really looked like scoring after going behind. shit.
  6. fine with the throw ins but i do take issue with the towel fetching/drying of the ball/not allowing opposition players to use the towel malarky. just throw the ball in son!
  7. completely contradictory to what i said earlier in this thread (that i was almost certain that Mockble was a nose) i've just had a conversation with the bloke who started the 'I'd rather be in jail than a grass' group on facebook - and, whilst its obviously up to you what you choose to believe - he insits that Lee Mockble himself was a villa fan. He says that if i was to go to his house (he lived 2 mins away from me) his rents would be happy to show me his room which is decorated with villa shirts/memorabilia etc. Obviously this raises many questions as to why a villa fan would choose to run over another one.... this bloke suggested that Danny Brown and whoever he was with accused Mockble of being a nose at which point he chose to drive off to avoid trouble but Danny threw a full pint glass at his car which smashed through a window and injured the passenger. I then asked him why its Blues fans campaigning for his release he replied: 'As far as blues fans campaigning for Lee, be realistic, taking into consideration who was involved, do you honestley think that villa fans would support Lee, of coarse they wouldn't, they wouldn't get involved for fear of reprisals, and I can understand that. But we had to get support, or we were in danger of this being forgotten about.' Thats their take... make of it what you will
  8. 99.9% that he's a blues fan? lived just round the corner from me in hall green. i also saw loads of folks running at the birmingham half marathon with justice for lee mockble t-shirts one had a b-lose cap and another b-lose shorts. pretty sure he was a nose tbh

    Baseball

enit, swept my dodgers . dont know what the hell is going on in LA but we've gone from being a contender to bottom of the NL west. pitching is atrocious and defense is worst in the entire MLB in terms of errors comitted. sort it out joe!!
  10. indeed. thought warnock, dunne, petrov and ashley were all poor. thought downing was better than he has been in the last few weeks. Gabby never has a bad game these days.
  11. truly abysmal stuff in the second half but i couldnt give a toss i cant decide whether its a penno or not but again, who cares. we've done the morons yet again and yet again they've proved themselves to be complete clearings in the woods on the football pitch. carr, bowyer, ferguson, johnson etc are all mindless thugs and im delighted that we won in the circumstances we did. VP was rockin for most of it - great day. The City is Ours!
  12. yeh games at the Sty are seemingly much more heated in terms of stuff going down outside. im sure if you approach the ground from the South (ie Aston station) or park in that area you'll encounter very very few noses and you should be fine.
  13. their away form has been horrendous lately so an early goal for us could do for 'em. so desperate to win this, the nerves have well and truly set in already.
  14. just got back, here are my thoughts: 1. paul mcshane is the worst player i have ever seen play football 2. craig fagan is a complete moron 3. first time iv ever seen 10 minutes added time at the end of a game 4. after the second goal some of the football we played was lovely (credit especially to milner who was class) - saw out the game with minimal fuss 5. fairly poor turnout from us i thought? didnt really enjoy the hull fans singing 'empty seats' at us 6. yet to see a replay but gabby's goal looked sumptuous
  15. in all honesty, whilst i like Cuellar, i am yet to see him produce 'excellent' displays at centre half save maybe for the win at Old Trafford when i think he partnered Dunne in the middle until Collins came on for Warnock (i think). i also thought Cuellar was really solid against Malouda in the FA cup semi final and chelsea's threat came from elsewhere. he has had poor games however; wolves at home springs to mind but i think we have bigger fish to fry than mither over a CB being played at RB; the future of our brilliant (imo) manager for example.
  16. no to santa cruz; hefty wages always injured 1 good season in his entire career 32 (?) now would be a terrible signing imo
  17. haha Newcastle. Remember when they hi-jacked United's bid for Wazza and tried to sign him from under Fergie's nose. They're so deluded...
  18. it would help if these stats were actually correct.
  19. N is quite close to the B button.... very assertive . i dont really think it needed explaining.... it just made me chuckle
  20. the match report on the OS refers to gabby as 'Agboblahor'; excellent. 'A slight air of frustration began to set in after the break as Ashley Young saw another valid penalty claim waived away after being felled by Vanden Borre, while Agboblahor couldn't find a way past James with a free header. '
  21. Good man! Glutton for punishment, eh? haha yup very much so. im hoping that if ever we achieve anything it'll be infintely sweeter than if i was a laker, celtic, magic fan or whatever. then again, im fairly certain that the 'clipper curse' truly exists and we'll be lottery bound for ever.
