Do you shoot fully auto? You might want to fire in bursts, especially at range. Sometimes. It just seems like I can get killed in a few shots where as I have to load an entire magazine into somebody to kill them.

Is there a perk I'm missing that gives your weapon increased damage? I have to shoot people about 10 times to kill them and as a result I'm getting less kills, more deaths and way more assists. Just recently got 15 kills, 10 deaths and 8 assists. Ridiculous.

I was immense at Black Ops. Had a K/D ratio of 3.35. Doubt I'll reach those heights with this.

Well I'm killing people with the UMP from range. And that's saying something because my accuracy is really toss. Not really a big criticism though as said above it's not as bad as MW2. Doesn't really change the game for the worse all that much. How are you doing that? I can barely kill people at range with an assault rifle. My big criticism of this game is that seems to take a ridiculous number of shots to kill someone.

I started off terribly. 14-14. Didn't do much better in the next game and got something like 8-6. Doing better now though. Two 12-2s in a row. I always start of shit as I don't know the maps/haven't played CoD for months.

You sure its Royal Mail whos delivering it?? Mines being delivered by DHL Yeah. I just pre-ordered the standard game and selected free delivery. Never mind though, as I've just bought it from ASDA and I'll be returning the pre-ordered copy to GAME whenever it decides to turn up. GAME are shit for deliveries mate. I ordered an XBOX Fifa 10 a couple of years ago and they sent it on PS3 instead. It even said on the receipt 'XBOX 360 - FIFA 10'. I managed to squeeze about 5 hours sleep in, if that (darn you nights ) so now the day is mine! I've always received pre-orders either early or on-time before. Won't be pre-ordering with them again though.

I don't think the West Brom game was boo-worthy at all. Sure, McLeish had no plan once we went down to 10 men but the people I blame most for that defeat are the linesman and the ref.

I agree. Look at last season - beat Man City, Everton and Liverpool at home, drew to Chelsea and Man U. The only big teams we lost to at home were Arsenal and Spurs. Villa always seem to raise their game for the big teams.

Who's hyping us or labeling us as among the favourites? People constantly use this as a stick to bash us with but the fact is nobody's really hyping us up for this tournament.

What utter rubbish. O'Neill left in bad circumstances and the wage bill was out of control. But the wage bill abnd transfers were approved by the money men in the club - namely Randy and Faulkner. O'Neill turned us into a consistent top 6 side. He helped turn Gabby into the player he is now. He got us our first win at Old Trafford for over 30 years. He got us wins at Arsenal, Liverpool, an incredible 4-4 draw at Chelsea, we beat Blues 5-1, we beat Everton at Goodison Park in dramatic fashion. We reached the Carling Cup final, we made the FA Cup semis. Yes things went wrong but it took Fergie four years to win a trophy at Man U, O'Neill had five years at Villa and came very, very close. He didn't get everything right but name a manager that does? This comment above is one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here. The managers we've had since are nowhere near as good as O'Neill and we will be very lucky to get someone who can guarantee the same stability that we had again. I'll never forget the booing when we drew 0-0 with West Ham and missed out on second place. In my opinion the beginning of the end and a very sad day to be a Villa fan. MON really wasn't that great a manager. I mean, as far as league placings go, he really didn't do anything special. You're using a lot of individual results to try and back up this theory that MON is some kind of great manager but every manager has their own set of good, and bad, results. Even last season which was pretty poor we had the wins over Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and the epic 3-3 with Chelsea. Doesn't prove much. As far as Gabby goes, McLeish has arguably got him playing the best football of his career so far in an inferior squad.

I like Walker, so if Spurs have to score against us I'd rather it be him. I hated it when Milner scored against us though.

Don't actually rate him THAT highly. He spills more shots than he really should do, and often into dangerous areas. He's no Seaman / Banks. Ive said exactly this Shillzz, look at the goals in the CL away at Munich abd home against Valencia, parry's the ball back into the centre of penelty area. Should've done better with Young's shot which led to Bent's debut goal as well

I dunno, yesterday most of the team played well. Given was good (as always), Dunne was good, Herd and Petrov were both good, Jenas was good when he came on, N'Zogbia was good and so too were Bent and Gabby. Even Heskey wasn't too bad.

It amazes me how quickly this guy has become one of our key players. Up until the West Brom game all he'd had was that very short stint at right back and a couple of cameo appearances last season. Since that West Brom game however he's been a starter for every game and played the full 90 minutes. As I said, he's seamlessly slotted into the first team in such a short space of time. You'd expect him to look shaky but he looks just as steady as Petrov who's been there for 5 years.
