Maybe spurs weren't at their best because we didn't allow them to be, just like sometimes we aren't at our best when certain teams try playing us a certain way. I don't give a sh*t how spurs played, we have enough about our team to beat a team of their ability. Maybe not everyone agrees but I think we aren't far off a good team ourselves. Some of our players just need a bit more experience and belief, oh and Benteke is key as well

From the far too short glimpse I saw today he seems to have curtailed his shoot at first opportunity habit, some nice runs were made and looked comfortable running with the ball in tight areas. He'll be used more and more I'm sure

As I said I voted for Delph as my MOTM, his weakness at times was his forward pass, I think he lacks subtlety with it which is surprising as when he is on a run you can't tell which way he's going to turn. He needs to make it harder to read for the defender

I hope this puts to rest the idea that some people have that Baker is a better defender than Clark. He gifted some horrible passes straight to Spurs and was at fault for all the space in front of Guzan's near side for the first goal. Hope Clark is back soon. Great to see Benteke back, hopefully we'll once again start to look potent up front. Luna had a good game as did Bacuna and Vlaar, my MOTM was Delph, although I felt that in spells in the second half he had gone ragged with his passing, maybe he was beginning to think that it was fruitless passing it to any of his team mates though, so he can be forgiven. I might have felt the same in his shoes tbh Edit: I'd like to see Tonev get more game time too

Lowton and Helenius aren't on the bench I'm sure(ish). Looking forward to this game and pretty optimistic for a good performance. I'm looking forward to watching Kozak, hopefully he's more adjusted to what it's like to play in the premier league now. Cannot wait...................
