Loving how Arsenal are deemed to be doing things organically. Charging two grand for the shit seat season tickets and 20 quid for a bottle of water isn't organic, it's ripping off the fans. Sadly they seem more than happy to pay it. Would rather a billionaire came in and paid for us to be successful rather than see the fans wallets take a monstrous bashing.

Do like Mat Kendrick. Stan is a bit too holier than thou for my liking. I would have no issue with us doing a Man City. Stan talks about doing stuff "the proper way." What way is that then? With the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and the Manchester pair we will struggle to win things "the proper way." If Stan is talking about becoming an English Dortmund then I'm totally fine with this.

To be honest when Trent said we'd be disappointed this week I expected Lerner to say that he was staying and continuing the self sustaining ways of the Lambert era. This isn't what I'd hoped for but the season finished yesterday and nobody really knows how far down any potential takeover route we actually are.

I still feel better than if Lerner had come out and effectively said "we go again". With the same financial restraints as the last couple of seasons I think we would be in deep trouble next season. At least now we have a chance with a new owner. I'm optimistic something will happen sooner rather than later.

I think anybody could deduce that the club were up for sale based on his original statement. But I'm still not sure why you are calling out the ITK's just yet as these have proven to be right so far. The ITK kicking will commence once we know who is actually buying the club as a lot of ITK's have stuck their necks on the line by giving names. Too early to start knocking the ITK's just yet IMO.

Well the season closed yesterday and today Lerner puts the club up for sale. Nobody knows how far down the line a sale could be as it was clear from his statement earlier in the season that he was going to sell the club. He hasn't just said "I'm selling" and will now look for someone to sell to. He will have been looking for a while I'd imagine.

Ultimately once a new owner is found a lot of things could change. Lerner is not going to do anything now until he sells the club. The new leaders of Aston Villa can change the plans for the summer. Let's hope we are sold quickly.

Apparently Alan Brazil just said "I've heard that Randy Lerner isn't selling." Given how much info any of the media has about the current goings on within the club I would imagine he doesn't have a clue.
