  1. Don't forget that they played more games back then too, Shearer was slightly ahead in overall goal ratio at same age as Kane, but he had never hit that 1 goal per game ratio Kane now is on and never did. If Kane have two more seasons after this with the level he's been at then he'll have equalled Shearer's peak years as far as goals goes. Kane: 2014/15 21yo 34 - 21 2015/16 22yo 38 - 25 2016/17 23yo 30 - 29 (best season goal ratio ever in the Premier League history) 2017/18 24yo 9 - 8 Shearer: 1991/92 21yo 41 - 13 1992/93 22yo 21-16 1993/94 23yo 40 - 31 1994/95 24yo 42 - 34 Also worth to mention that one of Alan Shearer's records are about to fall coming months. He hold the most Premier League goals scored in a calendar year, 36 goals back in 1995. Spurs have 12 games left in 2017, Harry Kane need 7 to equal Shearer, 8 to take the record for himself. Two greats of the game though, no doubt about it.
  2. He need to keep his current performance level. But as a goal scorer he's so far the best the Premier League has seen with the highest goal ratio of them all - english and foreign. Michael Owen actually never scored 20 in a league season. Kane comes off 21, 25, 29. And with 8 so far might very well go past 30 if he can stay fit this season. Will be interesting to see what kind of tournament he'll have with England next summer.
  3. Will take him 5 years imo, then Shearer's PL record after 8 or so.
  4. The 21 he played last season probably, he's after all only recently hit form this season after many months with injury 97% pass completion first half, 20% more than Henderson
  5. A Spurs fan will know that England need Harry Winks far more than Dele Alli.
  6. I'm confident we can compete with anyone. In many ways it might be better to face someone you have to be at your very best against, rather than get a team that you start speculating whether you can rotate and play half arsed against.
  7. They weaken their own product by not letting people stream whatever game they want to see. The people won't accept an inferior product, when there's better to be had illegally. Just look back to the music industry and Hollywood past 15-20 years.
  8. Not that worried about the seedings, Champions League should be about facing the very best. Bring us a group with Bayern, Barcelona and Roma
  9. I've had a blast watching the U20, U17 was okey too. This U21 however doesn't excite me much, looking more forward to the U19s in july.
  10. Well, they've kept Sissoko in there And I guess Flauvin totally flopped in english football too
  11. 12. Reckon most of the time it's about having had completely trust in financial advisor, rather then personal speculation in tax freud. They go on with fotball and models, while money men take care of their financial dealings.
  13. I'd recommend Bob Bradley. He'd take it too for sure. Winner mentality, dedicated pure professional, brings passion to the team. First of all an organizer and a pragmatic, allows creative players to do their thing, but defence and central midfield will have their shit together.

  15. 11, I've read that it's 15.Most likely it's same with Mason, initial 8 which can raise with add ons. It's a good price to get for Mason though, considering his injury history. On the other hand, the Chadli deal is cheap compared to the other transfers going around. Chadli scores 10 league goals a season from midfield when he's a starter. He's no worse than Gylfi Sigurdsson in my opinion.
  16. Wouldn't rule out Fulham. They've signed two very solid players now in Ragnar Sigurdsson and Stefan Johansen.
  17. Champions League this season, most likely full season there 2017/18. New White Hart Lane 2018/19 (if things go as planned)
  18. PIcture I posted above is old, you can see that business close to the left of the stadium. Demolished now.
  19. This picture, I believe it's from september as it was named so, show the outline of one of the corners of the new stadium next to the new one. As you can imagine, the new pitch will go far into where the old stadium was. The end closest to the construction site is what is being taken down at the moment.
  20. Those memories are more or less made up in people's minds too. White Hart Lane has been rebuilt step by step before, it isn't really the same stands as anyones grandparents used to be in. I have an older colleague who consider himself Spurs, but don't really follow anything anymore. He was last at WHL in the 70s, he was surprised when I told him that it was the same stadium, he thought it already had been demolished and rebuilt as it's nothing like what he went to back then. The new stadium will be at the same spot, just bigger. There'll be more than enough crossover to Spurs history and the old White Hart Lane to satisfy. I have only excitement about it all.
  21. Final season at White Hart Lane, this, will be played with 4k less While Champions League games will be at a full capacity Wembley.
  22. Different roles in the team, Dembele isn't supposed to score and assist that many. Modric didn't neither. It's a plus if he does of course, but he is first of all the dominator. He balance the midfield with his positioning, never lose possession, out muscle any player he is up against, and keep us ticking. Wouldn't say it was by accident, however it wasn't clear that Dembele would be this player last summer. We started the season unsure about whether he'd get into the side. He has always had his abilities, but Pochettino had to work a lot on him and change his mind set to bring out the best of him. While I don't think it's surprising that a new young player like Alli were eased in to begin with. Didn't take him that many games, and it was clear from pre season that he'd play a big part.
  23. Kane's been better, but the players have given their votes to Alli. Confirmed in the Spurs match program for tomorrow. That's why he's in the team of the year ahead of Özil, they tend to put Young Player into the side. Özil likely had more votes as he was a candidate for Player of the Year while Alli was not. Maybe Alli got the award as voters felt he was more in his breakthrough season than Kane. After all Hazard was Player of the Year last time around, but didn't win Young Player.
